Rapid Sprout is a multi-purpose list management application with hundreds of predefined folder layouts to choose from. Getting started is as simple as selecting a folder layout to use from our ever growing catalog. Once a folder is added to your list, you can immediately start using it. Customize it by decorating it with your own color, or changing how folder entries are organized on the screen.
Folders are by default organized by category which can be used to help filter your list of folders. Having a category list is helpful with a large collection of folders, folder categories are out of site unless needed. Changing the category name can be accomplished when adding a folder to your collection or later in design mode.
Share your folders with other Rapid Sprout users or they can share their folders with you. You have control on how the share user will interact with your folder. For example; you might not want them to be able to delete folder entries, but they can edit or add entries. In case where someone is not using Rapid Sprout you can still share folder entries via email or just print a hard copy.
From your folder choose an entry to be displayed when a local notification happens. Need to be reminded to make an entry into a folder? Just create a local notification in Rapid Sprout and assign a folder to it. The next time the local notification happens you’ll be prompted to make the entry in Rapid Sprout using the folder specified. Remember to choose recurring to make it repeatable.
There are certain services that happen automatically without any further action from you. Example: If you use a folder with a list of birthdays, anniversaries, special dates… the folder owner and anyone the folder is shared with will be emailed several days before the event and on the day of the event as a reminder. There is also an email notification list that can be accessed in design mode. Anytime an entry is made in to the particular folder an email is sent with a copy of the entry to anyone in the notification list.
