Do you need to divide your class (or a part of your class) into a number of groups (or teams) for class activities? Why not do this in a Fun and Engaging way with the Random Team Selector Pro App? You will create your own groups and teams of course, but to get you started, the app is pre-populated with example Groups, Events and Teams. For example there is a "Baseball Tournament" (An Event), with the following "Teams" allocated to it: Chicago Cubs Majestics New York Yankees Red Dragons Team Awesome Wildcats Each defined "Team" can be switched On/Off. There are also predefined "example" Groups. These are called: Miss Smith's Class Year 7 Maths Year 8 English Each of the above groups is populated with Names (or Students), these can also be switched On/Off (to allow for absentees etc.). Once an Event (e.g. Baseball Tournament), and a Group (e.g. Year 8 English) are selected, the user selects the required Theme from the five "Themes" in the app, and then goes to the main screen of the app where the names in "Year 8 English" are randomly distributed into the "Teams" contained in the Baseball Tournament (Event). Simply create a class group, enter the names of your students, select how many teams you want to divide them into (you can select up to 8 teams) and then choose from one of the built-in themes...Jungle, Dino, Metal, Underwater and Space (with more to come). Each theme has it's own animations and sound effects to keep the app fresh and exciting for students. The app helps with the entry of multiple Groups (Classes etc.) and Group Members (Students etc.) by allowing the teacher to import Groups and Group members from either a text file or a CSV file. You can import tens or even hundreds of names in one go! The integration with the cloud (Free Dropbox account required) means all Groups, Group members, Teams and Team Collections can be shared (synced) across a number of devices using the same Dropbox account. You can even share Groups and Group members with our Random Name Selector Pro app! .... just search for "Random Name Selector Pro" on the app store. The names of the Students will be displayed randomly and automatically allocated into a team. The custom graphics, sound effects and animations will ensure the students never get bored. An unlimited number of class groups of up to 32 “active” students in each group is supported. Student names can be made active and non-active if you only want to include a subset of the class. Student and group names are easily created, edited and deleted. There is a feedback form in the app to report any issues directly to the developers or to request changes or enhancements to the app. We encourage you to use this as we want to make this app the best it can be! Version History We have improved the app to allow users to switch between Groups and Teams in a more intuative way, as well as fixing a few bugs and providing support for the latest devices. 1.8 Mar 3 This update fixes a bug where, with iOS 16, some times the theme backgrounds would not display correctly. Thanks to those users who reported the bug. Please continue to contact our support department from inside the app, with any bugs or ways in which you feel the app could be improved. 1.7 10/31/2022 We have updated how selected names are displayed and fixed a couple of minor bugs. If you can think of any ways in which the app can be improved, please use the in app contact form to let us know. We want to make this app as useful as possible for our users. 1.6 08/25/2022 We think this is a great update. Following user feedback, it is now possible to setup any number of Groups, Events and Teams in the app, with between 1 and 8 Teams live and available for selection at any time. The app also contains some minor bug fixes and support for the latest Apple devices. 1.5 05/03/2022 This update includes support of the lastest version of iOS and new devices. We have also improved the user interface and fixed a few bugs. All Groups/Group members created inside this app can be shared (via a free dropbox account) with our Random Name Selector Pro app. Please use the contact form inside the app to report any issues or make any suggestions as to how we can improve it...enjoy! 1.4 01/15/2020 We squashed a bug that prevented users from Syncing their Groups/Group members to Dropbox. 1.3 03/01/2018 We have improved the Dropbox integration (you can now share the class and student names you have entered with our "Random name Selector App) and fixed a few little bugs as well as making the app more user friendly to use....enjoy! oh..and please keep the feedback coming, it helps make the app even better. 1.1 08/24/2016 1.0 01/19/2015
