Wow, it's been a really long time since I've been here. I thank maree who posted that she started a new journal. I was a follower of her last journal. And it reminded me how much I lived LJ. So, I friended her new journal and been perusing the new ways of LJ and seeing if there was still life here. I almost thought about abanding ship to go to Dreamwidth as I noticed most of those I did follow here have since left for that site. But, I don't want to abandon my comfort and joy that once was LJ. I'm hoping it will be that way again. I have been journaling on actual paper but I also noticed I find myself not doing it enough do to, it takes longer to write than to type.

Anywho, I'm looking for new friends here and hope to get back to using this on at least a weekly basis. Lots has happened in the last two years and in the last few months. So with that I know I could use a place to put it all down. I also miss enjoying fandom chit chat. I have cleared my friends list and communities. Pretty much everyone is gone. Time to find new connections/friends.

Who's your favorite character in 2? I love the whole Bravo 1 team. But, definitely lust for Clay.

Who's your least favorite character in 1? Casey I guess. I’m still bitter we no longer have Abby.

What's your favorite episode of 4? I haven’t watched the two seasons enough to remember what episode was what. But, I’m addicted to Mayans and any time EZ has his shirt off, I’m happy lol.

What's your favorite season of 5? Man, that’s so hard. I’m going to go with the first two seasons. I think those were definitely the best days for Supernatural. I’m so sad after this year we won’t have anymore Winchester Bros on our tv.

Who is your favorite ship in 3? I love Tani/Junior.. I really miss Steve/Danny. Scott Caan needs to get his butt back on the show more often.

Who is your anti-ship in 2? Don’t have one.

How long have you watched 1? Since it started. It’s funny my parents loved the show and I was like eh, no thanks. But, I would always watch with them. But, it definitely grew on me halfway through season one. Abby was really the reason I stuck around. I couldn’t stand Kate.

How did you become interested in 3? Well, my fam was a fan of the original H50. And I was already a fan of Alex O’Loughlin and Scott Caan so I was definitely willing to give it a shot. And Dang, it had my with the first episode. I dread the day this show gets cancelled. I’m actually really loving the current cast way.

Who's your favorite actor/actress in 4? J.D. Pardo all the way! But, I really have grown to love all the characters.

Which do you prefer, show 1, 2 or 5? Can’t make me choose! I watch reruns of NCIS & Supernatural on the daily. And I’m addicted to Seals now, there are no reruns, but I have rewatched on dvd. What can I say? I love my TV.

Which show have you seen more episodes of, 1 or 3? it could be a tie. But, probably NCIS because it’s on tv everyday.

If you could be anyone from 4, who would you be? To be honest, I wouldn’t want to live any of these characters lives. I enjoy watching the danger and drama safely from my couch.

How would you kill off your favorite character in 1? This question is mean. I don’t want to hurt anyone. But, you know what they already got rid of my fave character. Abby. I would say Torres is my fave character now. I’d probably have him go down in some bad ass fight where he saved the day but unfortunately not himself.

Give a random quote from 1. Erm, can’t think of one. I use to love when Ziva would mess up American sayings.

Would a 3/4 crossover work? No not at all lol.

Has 5 inspired you in any way? Haha, I think I’d be able to survive any supernatural event for at least a few hours thanks to the show.

Air conditioning stopped working this afternoon. Of course this couldn't happen last week when we were in the 60s. This week its in the 80s.

My house is very warm right now. Luckily the a/c guy can come out in a few hours to hopefully fix it. 🤞🏻

I'm so thankful for working from home. Not only for no office drama. Or being able to work in comfy clothes and no makeup. Most thankful I don't have to leave the house on mornings like this! When I got up it was 45F now 56F. Erm. No thanks.

So staying in my comfy and warm robe and drinking lots of hot tea!

Ever since Disney+ started I've really been enjoying the show Encore! Where adults come back many years later to redo their high school musical. I swear I've cried on every episode. It's crazy how we don't let go of the pain we went through as a teenager. And how we may have grown and are more confident now but as soon as you see an old H.S. friend or think about those days you feel all those insecurities and angst you did back then. For me, I was a class clown. I used humor as a mask. Everyone knew who I was because I was the funny girl. But, I didn't really have many real friends who knew the real me. If any. I had a lot of fear of being too different. Like today it's cool to stand-out or go your own way. But in the 90's it was so not okay.. I was a dork who was not in a rush to grow up and really didn't feel comfortable in my enviorment. Everyone wanted to be an adult at 16/17 while I was like can I play video games all day or watch MTV and learn the latest dance routines?! Not that I would ever dance in front of anyone. Just my best friend at the time who tried to learn with me. I wish I could tell that kid how cool she really was and those who she wish would except her for the real her, aren't even really important and to just be who you want to be. To shine and go for all those creative outlets you were so wanting to go for. Enjoy those years and don't worry about every little thing.

I wanted to be in choir. I went to try out in H.S. but when it came to having to sing alone to find where my vocals were I choked and left the class and never went back. I hate that I didn't just go for it. Also, wish I would have done dance classes when my mother offered to pay for them. I might have been a class clown but I was actually super shy and didn't want the focus on me. A true Gemini I guess lol.

Anywho I'm loving this show! I'm about to watch the most recent episode. Just finished the Oklahoma episode. I think that one is my fave so far.


On another note: I'm really annoyed with Photobucket!!!! I want my moodtheme back!

Just recently got a handful of new friends and I thought i'd help you get to know me a little more with an intro post. Also good for those who once knew me. All the "favorites" are my current. Music and movies changes often.

My work week was crazy busy and I ended up working Friday to cover for another girl. That will be nice for my paycheck. On Thursday evening after work, my Aunt and I went to Epcot to get our complimentary magnet. It's the first week of Flower & Garden Festival so, I should have realized how busy it would be. Silly me thought, "It won't be busy on a week night." oh how wrong I was. Had a hard time finding parking and then dealing with all the rude tourist in the park. I swear I'm invisible. People walk right at me and don't move. The rudeness of people really has kept me from going to the Disney parks as often. I use to go weekly now months go by.

We went right to Mouse Gears to get our free passholder magnet. This month it's Pluto. In April they will have Daisy. I love that they have started doing this. Now if they could just change on the magnet they send when you renew your annual pass. I have like 5 Mickey Mouse magnets. Now if it was different Mickey's I'd be happy but it's the same magnet each time. Anywho getting our magnets was super easy. No line. We then searched for the one t-shirt I wanted to get. But it ended up being in another location in the park. All the cast members I stopped while in Mouse Gears was very kind and helpful. It was nice to find that, because I've run into too many grumpy cast members in the last few months. When I worked there that would have never been allowed. I knew when the changes that were happening at the end of my time as a cast member it was going to change how Disney as  a whole would no longer be that Magical place I grew up on. Money has become way too much the focus for them now. Anywho, off track here. After getting the magnet we wandered to find the shirt I wanted. It was a Donald and Spike the bee shirt for the Festival. I was very upset with how expensive all the merchandise has gotten. I'm not paying 35 bucks for a shirt. So luckily I can fit into youth shirts so I got me one of those that still has Spike on it. For 20 bucks plus I get 20% off with my annual pass. I ended up getting a Figment Tumbler and two plant pot coffee mugs one with Figment the other with Donald. They were all passholder items. I'm really loving the designs for this years fest.

We walked a bit to look at the topiary. There wasn't much that was new this year. But I did get pics of the ones that were different. We both were getting tired (so out of shape) so we didn't walk the showcase to see the rest of the topiaries. Plan on doing that in a few weeks when we go back for the Simple Plan concert.

Today my  Aunt and I went to pick up my parents to go out to lunch. I haven't spent much time with my parents in the last two months. So it was nice getting some quality time. After lunch we stopped at the pet store and I got all my fur babies food plus a new toy for Tober. He somehow lost his toy. He destroys most cat toys but this one I found he seems to be able to keep. It's supposed to be a chew toy to help teeth. We got just because it last longer than a day lol. I ended up buying my parents dog a bag of food too. I knew it was going to be pricey once I got to the register but luckily I ended up having a free bag of food coupon and a five dollars off. That helped. My babies are worth it, but it does keep me in check when I want more. I'm always wanting to bring home more cats and this reminds me, I can't afford anymore mouths to feed lol.

Tomorrow us girls (My mom, aunt and I) are going to Universal Studios. We haven't been there for almost a year. My sister and nephew are coming this summer to visit so we plan on buying their tickets for Universal tomorrow while there's a deal going on. Buy a 2 day ticket get 2 extra days free. That's pretty awesome. Still expensive but, not as bad as it could be.

I feel like I just got punched in the gut. Luke Perry died of a massive stroke. That hits close to home, my mother had a stroke last summer, and that could have easily been her end. Thank you God for not taking her from us. It's so sad to hear Luke wasn't able to fight back. Only 52 years old, and still had so much more great characters to give us. He'll always be Dylan McKay to me. My crush will never fade.

My heart and prayers go to his family and friends. And all the fans who feel the loss as well.
