Amenities

Is the water at the campground safe to drink?

Yes! All Ramble campgrounds have drinking water spigots near the bathrooms and around the campground.

The sink water at your campsite is meant for washing hands and dishes only.

 

Does Ramble have bathrooms and showers?

We sure do! All Ramble campgrounds have a main restroom facility equipped with ADA-accessible stalls, flushing toilets, sinks, and baby changing stations. For campsites located farther from the main building, we also provide outhouses positioned around the perimeter of the campground for added convenience.

Is there a designated area to park at the campsite?

Yes! Ever Ramble campsite comes with a dedicated parking space for your site. Check the listing to confirm how many vehicles you can bring, before you book.

Is there a camp store?

Yes! Ramble has a camp store that sells merchandise, snacks and toiletries exclusive to the campground. Be sure to stop by during your stay.

Do I need to bring my own propane?

Nope! Ramble provides propane for guests to use.

Do I need to bring cooking equipment for the campsite?

Please make sure to plan your meals ahead of time so you can take advantage of the campsite kitchen. Each Ramble campsite is equipped with a double range & bbq that comes with propane.

Guests will need to bring their own cooking utensils and pots and pans for meal preparation.

Do I need to bring my own firewood?

All Ramble campgrounds provide firewood for purchases located at the bathhouse and distribution bins situated around the campground. Fire purchased on-site cost $7/bundle.

To buy firewood onsite, simply scan the QR code and go through the checkout process. And don’t worry about hauling armfuls of wood to and from your campsite. We have free wagons for you to use.

 

What amenities does the kitchen come equipped with?

At Signature, Signature Plus and Group campsites, your outdoor kitchen will be stocked with essential amenities to get you started!

Here is a list of items you will find at your Ramble outdoor kitchen:

  • Cutting board
  • Tea kettle
  • Grill lighter
  • Hand soap
  • Dish soap

Wine openers and can openers can be rented at the camp store.

General

What is Ramble’s cancellation policy?

Plans change, mother nature may not cooperate. We get it. Please see the following cancellation policies to prepare yourself if you need to cancel your trip:

  • To receive a full refund, Ramble requests guest cancel at least 60 days before check-in
  • If a customer cancels between 30 and 60 days before check-in, they will can receive a 50% credit refund or 100% camp credit
  • If a customer cancels between and 30 days before check-in, they will can receive a 50% camp credit refund
  • If a customer cancels less than 7 days before check-in, they will not receive a refund
  • If a customer does not check in for their reservation, Ramble will assume the customer is a no-show. The customer will not receive any refund for their reservation.

Ramble will initiate a 100% refund in the event of an emergency closure.

Is electricity available at each campsite?

Not exactly. Our Signature, Signature Plus, and Group campsites feature solar-powered outlets located at the kitchen structure.

These outlets are designed for charging small devices such as phones or other low-power electronics. Please be mindful of your energy use so the power lasts throughout your stay.

If you’re staying at an Adventure campsite, which does not include electricity, some locations offer the option to rent a solar-powered battery bank for use during your visit.

Can I bring my RV or camper van to my campsite?

Campground policies differ depending on where you stay.

At Ramble at Great Sand Dunes, campsites are designed for off-grid camping and can accommodate a variety of vehicles, from motorhomes to vans with slide-outs. A complimentary community dump station is available near the restroom facilities. Please note that full hookups are not provided.

At Ramble at Mesa Verde, RVs and trailers are not permitted, though camper vans are welcome. If you’re unsure whether your vehicle is suitable, please contact us—we’ll gladly help you choose the best site for your stay.

 

What is an Adventure Campsite?

Adventure campsites are designed for true adventure seekers looking for a more primitive camping experience. Adventure campsites can accommodate up to 4 guests comfortably and are dog friendly.

Adventure campsite amenities include:

  • 1 tent pad that can accommodate one tent
  • Shade structure
  • Table with four chairs
  • Stove and grill with propane
  • Solo Stove smokeless fire pit
  • Horseshoe set
  • Community water station
  • Complimentary Wagons
What is a Signature Campsite?

Signature campsites are designed for the expert car camper who is ready for a classic camping experience. Signature campsites can accommodate up to 6 guests with onsite parking.

Signature campsite amenities include:

  • 2 tent pads
  • Shaded kitchen structure
  • String lights
  • Solar powered outlet
  • Stove and grill with propane
  • Sink for washing hands and doing dishes
  • Solo Stove smokeless fire pit
  • Adirondack chairs
  • Horseshoe set
What is a Signature Plus Campsite?

Signature Plus campsites are designed for the entertainer. More space, easy kitchen to whip up meals and extra amenities to keep your party going all night long. Signature Plus campsites can accommodate up to 8 guests and have parking spaces next to the campsite.

Signature Plus campsite amenities include:

  • 2 tent pads ( 3 pads at Great Sand Dunes location)
  • Shaded kitchen structure
  • String lights
  • Solar powered outlets
  • Stove and grill with propane
  • Sink for hand washing and dishes
  • Solo Stove smokeless fire pit
  • Adirondack chairs
  • Horseshoe set

Group campsites are designed to be the perfect basecamp for your party after a day out adventuring. Group campsites can accommodate up to 20 guests with an onsite parking lot.

Group Campsite amenities include:

  • Expanded shaded kitchen structure

  • Solar powered outlets
  • 2 Stoves and grill with propane
  • 2 sinks for washing hands and dishes
  • Cabinet with kitchen accessories

For the safety of our guests and staff, Ramble does not allow hunting on our property.

 

Is there wifi at the campground?

Yes, Ramble campgrounds have complimentary WiFi that is accessible to guests.

What is your COVID-19 policy?

Ramble cares deeply about the wellbeing of our campers, staff, and communities. Our campsites were built with the intention to be a sanctuary for our guests– a time to reconnect with nature and enjoy the spirit of camping in the outdoors.

To continue to ensure everyone’s health, we’ve included contactless guest experience and closely follow the guidance from the Centers for Disease Control to keep our guests and team members safe.

Do you have quiet hours?

Absolutely!

Quiet Hours:

  1. Quiet hours are from 10:00 PM to 7:00 AM.
  2. No running of any generators during quiet hours.
  3. Please be courteous to other guests around you.
  4. Loud music or objectionable noise is not allowed at any time.
  5. Inconsiderate guests will be evicted from the park.
  6. Profanity or violence towards other guests or campground staff will result in immediate eviction from the park.
  7. Guests violating rules that result in eviction notice will not receive any refunds for their stay.
Do you have campground security?

Yes! Ramble’s Camp Host is present on the campground 24/7 and guests are able to reach them any time via text or phone call.

If there is an emergency, please call 911 and then get in touch with the Camp Host immediately.

Planning Your Trip

Can I drive my ATV or dirt-bike at a Ramble campground?

Ramble does not allow any type of off-road vehicles at the campground. Due to the safety of our guests and mindful of loud noise, ATV/UTV and motorbike usage is prohibited. If you have someone with accessibility issues, please contact hello@ramble.camp to make special accommodations.

How do check-in and check-out work?

You can check into your campsite anytime after 2pm and check out by 11 am.

When you arrive to the campsite, you do not need to check in with anyone, just drive straight to your campsite number found on your reservation. Its that easy!

Early or late check in/out requests are available upon request.

Absolutely! Same-day reservations are allowed—you’ll just need to complete the online booking process to confirm availability before your arrival.
