The Rally App

Even though we strive to keep the Rally website up to date, the best way to get the latest info for the Rally and everything going on in at every MOA Rally is by using the Rally App! It's available on Apple iOS and Android platforms, just pick which is appropriate for you and download now. Then use the tutorial below on how to get registered (on the app) and use it throughout your Rally experience. Navigate with the arrows on the sides of the slides or the dots underneath.

(Note: The screenshots are from an iPhone. If you're using a table or Android device, your screen may look different.)

If you have any problems with the Rally App, please take some screenshots and email them along with a description of the problem and what platform (iOS or Android) you're using, as well as your device details (model and OS number) to fletch@bmwmoa.org. We'll see you in Lebanon!

Once you've downloaded the app, open it. You'll see a large Rally logo at the top; tap anywhere on that logo to enter the event.

Once you're in the event itself, tap on the profile icon in the upper right corner.

Now that you're on the Profile screen, you can register yourself on the app! Tap in the area where it says "Sign In."

NOTE: You will be creating an account *within the app* so you can use it during the Rally. While the email address you use may be the same as your MOA account email address, this is an entirely separate account and is not connected to your profile on bmwmoa.org. Information is not passed between this app and the membership database.

Tap on "Sign in with email."

First, enter the same email address you used to register for the Rally. Then tap the "Continue" button.

Once you've completed the previous screen, you'll need to go to your email and confirm your email address. You can tap "Open mailbox," which will open the default email app on your device, or you can manually open your email app on your device or computer.

You should see the confirmation email in your Inbox; if you don't, be sure to check your Spam folder. Click or tap the button or the link below it (which has been cut from this image, as each link is unique).

Once you've confirmed your email address, you should get this screen within a few seconds. If you don't see it, you'll need to reach out to us for assistance.

Go back to the Rally App and tap the "I confirmed my email" button on the same screen where you triggered opening your mail app.

You'll need to put something in each field. We'd appreciate you putting in your actual name and you will have to create a password for the Rally App, but Job Title and Organization aren't important. Be serious or have a little fun ... or just put "n/a." Once you're done, tap "Create account."

If you'd like to add a profile photo, you're welcome to do that! It works like most social media sites and apps; you'll need to have a relevant (and family-friendly) photo already on your device to use.

Once you've settled on your profile picture, tap "Crop" to save it.

You can choose to appear in the list of attendees or not - it's 100% up to you!

You can also choose to allow other Rally attendees to initiate chats with you from within the Rally App. Again, 100% up to you.

Once you see this, you're all done creating your Rally App profile. Tap "Take me home" and you're ready to start using the Rally App!

Your completed profile area looks like this. Once you're here, you'll be able to see various things you've earmarked throughout the app, like concerts, seminars and the like.

Sometimes when you open the app and tap on the event, it will update itself with new information. It only takes a few seconds.

If you ever see a red dot on your profile image (it will be your initials if you haven't uploaded an image), that's how you know you need to update the information in the app. Tap on your profile icon (image or initials) to start the update process.

Once you're looking at your profile page, tap the "Update now" button and give it a few seconds to do its thing. Boom! Your Rally App is now fully up to date with all the freshest information.

To save any session as a favorite, tap its flag. To un-save it, tap the flag again.
