As frequent air travelers, we have the fortunate opportunity to explore the world. With the ability to visit cities new and old, it’s important to create a positive travel experience through identifying the best each spot has to offer.
There’s a lot of travel information available...much of it tied to promotional ads or left by tourists during a brief visit. There’s nothing I invest in more than a review from trusted industry peers that frequent the same location often and find the best an area has to offer. After not finding a comprehensive platform with an easy search engine to produce user-friendly, standardized, and reliable results, I created CREW TRVLER...a crowd sourced app that allows you to share your travel recommendations with industry peers.
-'Discuss' view allows you to ask other users for information about a particular layover.
-'Feed' view provides a one stop shop to review all the discussions for a particular layover.
-Ability to 'Edit' past layover requests or replies that you provided.
-Ability to 'Follow' a layover discussion.
-Push notifications to let you know of new 'Discussions' or replies to discussions you 'Followed'.
-Fixed gym link (fitness figure button) that did not work in the hotel detail view.
-Minor bug fixes.
-Code efficiency to provide a quicker user experience and future growth.
-Ability of uploading pictures has temporarily been disabled allowing for storage of other data as we expand.

- Own camera enabled for uploading pictures.
- Leave alerts for hotels in the hotel comments section to warn your fellow travelers (possible bed bugs, security, noise, and maintenance issues. You can also report a maintenance issue resolved).
- Button linked to hotel website now on the 'Hotel' view.
- The ability to change the origination of your 'Search Location' for when you share reviews or view the 'Map'.
- The ability to rate and leave general comments about layover locations in the 'Map' view."
- Distance from the selected location to other reviewed locations is now presented in the 'Map' view.
- In addition to reviewing hotel gyms you can now review local gyms on the 'Share Reviews' view.
- The ability to search gyms for specific workout equipment on the 'Fitness' page accessed via the 'Dash'. Comments can be left for Peloton reviews in the 'Gyms' 'Share Reviews' view (this comment can also be updated by selecting the 'pencil' button in the 'Gym' view (now you can let the next rider know the working order of the bike and update that comment if it is fixed)).
- Option to add your email when providing 'Feedback' on the 'Settings' view.
- View layouts changed for a user-friendly cleaner look.
- Added the 'New' view on the 'Dash' to provide users a list of new features so nothing goes missed.
- Minor bug fixes.
