So instead of sticking to my plan to write AD fic, I spent the entirety of yesterday rewatching and then writing kind-of-crappy fic for The Lizzie Bennet Diaries. I'm not really at all sure what I think of this; I don't think it comes off that good, but I really love the idea of it happening in one of the videos. Anyway, I thought I'd post a link here since I'm not where else on LJ to post it (I'll likely post it on Fanfiction and on tumblr, but LJ is my main fic place.) Plus, it seems like a ton of you are catching up with the series, which is awesome!

A/N: Yes, I wrote Lizzie Bennet Diaries fic. I was going to spend the weekend writing Arrested Development fic or working on a Parks fic that I’ve been writing since March, or actually studying (because I do in fact sometimes do that), but instead I rewatched all of The Lizzie Bennet Diaries and decided to write a thousand or so words about Lizzie and Darcy getting together, because I really can’t wait for it to happen (seriously – I’m so happy that we’re at the point in the story where her opinion of him only improves). Fair-warning: this was written in like a day and without a beta, so all mistakes (and I’m sure there are many) are mine.

This is my post for the awesome Literary Ladies We Love: A Celebration of Women in Literature. I was lucky enough to pick the lovely Elizabeth Bennet from Pride and Prejudice, one of my favorite characters in literature, and this is me talking about how she's basically the coolest lady ever.

So, I really can't pick one moment, because there have been so many great ones, but that one scene at the end of "Vincent and the Doctor" will always have a special place in my heart, just because it is so nice and pretty and the ending is really happy. Amy wishing that Vincent hadn't ended his life is so sweet, and everything the Doctor says is right.

It's super hard to pick a favorite Amy episode, just because she's so awesome in all of them (or, most of them), but I think I'm going to have to go with "The Eleventh Hour", just because it's such a great intro to Amy and this new doctor, and really makes us care about this new girl even though we hardly know. Also, the hair.
