What Employers are Saying
“With our Scholar’s help, our project goals were a success! We have been able to form an understanding of tools and frameworks used by ML / AI developers, gained invaluable insight as to how models are trained, explored regression and classification applications of ML / AI, and built a GPU powered testbed server. Our Scholar is an extremely talented and motivated young data scientist. In his short time with our team, he has contributed so much to our efforts. We were fortunate to have him as our intern for the summer and hope that we were able to contribute half as much to his success as he has contributed to ours.”
Brad Burns
Director of IT Services, Simple Helix
“Our fantastic experience with the Data Scholars program was a result of our Scholar’s work ethic and willingness to learn about the different aspects of our organization. Additionally, QuantHub provided him with the tools he needed to make the internship a seamless experience for us mentors as well as the interns. Thank you, QuantHub!”
Hunter Custard
Director, Alabama Capital Network
“Our Data Scholar intern was absolutely fantastic. The online learning resources she used from QuantHub were applicable to her work with us, and she learned quickly. She frequently spoke about the usefulness of the AI-related coursework, and she got an opportunity to use the knowledge she gained to build a private ChatGPT bot to help us summarize earnings calls… Nothing but positive feedback on my end!”
Dr. Jacob Lamb
Director of Research, AL Business Intelligence Center, Economic Development Partnership of AL, EDPA
“Our Data Scholar has demonstrated strong analytical thinking and has been particularly insightful in our discussions about ethical AI use in healthcare settings.
Her work is directly contributing to our patient outcome improvement initiatives, and she’s shown real aptitude for translating clinical needs into data-driven solutions. The combination of her QuantHub training and our healthcare focus has been a perfect match.”
Dr. Jennifer Campbell
Co-Owner & Principal Consultant Pharmacist, MedsPlus Consulting
“This internship was incredibly valuable. I honed my leadership and management skills working with Scholars in a very different area of expertise from my own. As a bonus, they built an MVP of the product! I’m incredibly proud of the work they have accomplished over the summer and look forward to participating next year.”
