The QFT Control Toolbox for MATLAB is an interactive, object-oriented CAD tool for designing robust control systems with two degrees of freedom (2DOF). It provides a special architecture based on seven main windows and a shared central memory, and includes a library of basic and advanced functions. This program enables multitasking/threading and allows users to create a control system that meets desired performance specifications while maintaining low loop times.
The QFT Control Toolbox for MATLAB is an interactive object-oriented CAD tool for QFT robust control systems design. The program provides a special architecture based on seven principal windows and a common central memory. It includes a library of basic and advanced functions to be selected in the corresponding windows and allows a multitasking/threading operating system. The main objective is to design and implement a 2DOF (two degree of freedom) robust control system for a plant with uncertainty, which satisfies the desired performance specifications, while achieving reasonably low loop gains (avoiding or minimizing bandwidth, sensor noise amplification and control signal saturation).
