QCADCAM is a 2D CAD/CAM application for designing precise technical drawings and converting them into CNC toolpaths and G-code. Built on the QCAD platform, it enables you to draft parts using layers and blocks, then assign machining parameters to contours for milling, routing, plasma, laser, or waterjet cutting. It supports common file formats such as DXF and DWG and provides options like lead-in/lead-out, tool/kerf compensation, tabs/bridges, cut ordering, and typical 2D operations including profiling, engraving, and drilling. Configurable post-processors help generate G-code for a wide range of CNC controllers, and the software runs on Windows, macOS, and Linux.
QCADCAM is developed by RibbonSoft GmbH. The most popular versions of this product among our users are: 3.3, 3.4, 3.6, 3.7 and 3.9. The name of the program executable file is qcad.exe.
