#1 it is good but to me it looks like it is missing something
1- I like the texture, but it doesn't seem enough
#1 - I like that it's a group icon (the only one in this batch), and, I don't know. It's simple but I like the way it looks. The other icons look too crowded to me.
1 - I really like how the image is cropped and how it still looks finished even though it's kept simple.
1- Lovely cropping and I really like the brushing the back.

2- Too busy. There's alot crammed into the space. The upside down picture looks a little akward.
2 nice colouring and composition
2 - I like the effect. The light splash of colour adds to the image, and the simplicity of it is really nice.
#3 middle square could have been done in colour, or the small one
#3 - I just don't get the 'creativity' jist of this icon at all. It just looks jumbled and unfinished and sloppy.
3 - I don't know how to phrase this properly... the orange square's motive (pipe, shoulder) isn't substantial enough to be right in the center of the icon and highlighted with color. (Hope that made sense)
4- the colors and effects seem too harsh
#4 - What the ... the first thing I thought of when I saw this icon was I thought John was brutally massacred or something. It's rather frightening, actually... O_O He looks like he belongs on a Halloween pumpkin or something.
4 - the floating head style could have been pretty neat, but the gash in Cleese's forehead and down his nose ruins it IMHO.
4- The colors are too bright and the image isn't clear enough.
4 - although the effect is kinda cool, it's just too much red
4 - The red is very overpowering and the image effect looks very strange.
#4 so different! It is like 'In your face!'
#4 - I don't know why, but I rather like number four. It's offbeat, which is the word anyone would use for the Python style.
#5 - Since I can't vote for my own (mine is rather drab, don't you think?), I'll have to choose this one.
5 - I like the contrast and the different use of opacities
#6 - The brushes are what did it for me. Were the icon to be without them, I would probably say, "hey what a nice icon" but no.
6 - the colouring is a bit washed outandthe brushes doesn't really do much for the icon
6 - The image seems flat and is a bit blurry.
