PypeServer’s NAP Integration Elevates Fire Protection Fabrication
PypeServer’s integration with the NAP Universal Welder delivers a seamless digital fire protection workflow from model to machine. Outlet and pipe cut length data flow straight from the 3D model to the PypeServer Cloud via PypeServer’s plug-ins for Revit and AutoCAD. The Cloud eliminates file export and import hassles, adds revision control, and offers real-time status tracking and productivity metrics.
Once the data are in the Cloud, PypeServer’s Lyte software for saws and other cutters processes the cut lists using nesting algorithms specifically designed to preserve pre-grooved ends. With each cut, Lyte prints part labels that include programming barcodes for the NAP Universal Welder. After the parts reach the Universal Welder, they’re scanned by the operator to program the machine, saving time and preventing programming errors.
