Puzzle Quest 3

Puzzle Quest 3 is the continuation of one of the most important puzzle RPGs that exists. It's a title that mixes match-3 gameplay with hero progression and RPG elements. It's a direct sequel of the game that started the popular puzzle RPG subgenre and that returns with the original development team.

In this game, you'll embark on an adventure set in a world full of swords and witchcraft where you have to save, once again, the world from the evil forces that attempt to destroy it. Your objective involves completing different missions where you have to defeat all the enemies who dare to cross your path.

The combats in Puzzle Quest 3 are where you'll spend most of your time and where you'll really put your skills to the test. In these turn-based battles, you'll put together the different colored pieces on the board in order to get the power from each one. You have five different ones that allow you to activate your hero's abilities and reduce your rival's health bar. All this while you dodge enemies that are trying to take you down.

The special abilities and spells in Puzzle Quest 3 let you use all sorts of strategies in the turn-based combats. Not all of these abilities involve attacking, though. Some of them will help you improve your defense, recover your health, or activate altered states in your enemies. It all depends on your hero's class and the strategy you like best.

Puzzle Quest 3 is a fantastic puzzle RPG that has gorgeous 3D settings and a gameplay that will keep you hooked for hours. It's the best of both worlds: match 3 gameplay and RPG elements for an extra unique touch.
