Slack#

Pulsewise can send notifications directly to a Slack channel using incoming webhooks.

Setup#

1. Go to your Slack workspace's Apps settings.
2. Search for Incoming Webhooks and install it (or create a new Slack app).
3. Create a new webhook and select the channel you want notifications posted to.
4. Copy the webhook URL.
5. In Pulsewise, go to your site's Settings > Notifications.
6. Click Add Notification Channel and select Slack.
7. Paste the webhook URL and configure your notification preferences.

What notifications look like#

Slack notifications include:

• The site name and URL
• A description of the event (e.g. "Site is offline", "SSL certificate expiring in 7 days")
• A color-coded sidebar indicating severity (green for recovery, red for critical issues)
• A direct link to the relevant page in Pulsewise
