PTC Quality Agent is a lightweight background component from PTC that installs alongside select PTC applications (such as Creo). It is not a user-facing program; instead, it supports product stability and troubleshooting by monitoring application health and capturing diagnostic information. When enabled, the agent can collect crash details and performance data and, according to your settings, securely transmit anonymized reports to PTC. This helps PTC and your support team identify issues more quickly and improve overall product quality.
Designed for enterprise environments, PTC Quality Agent runs with minimal overhead and can be managed by IT administrators through policy and configuration options. Data collection and transmission behavior are configurable to align with organizational privacy requirements and compliance standards.
