okay, so i have made it my goal to upload all my icons/colorbars/maybe even wallpapers (which isnt as many as it used to be due to the fact that like half my hard drive got erased a few months ago) to photobucket and post them all in one big icon post here. then whenever i make more, i will not only post them in their own special posts in communities, but i will add them to my massive graphics post.
im also gonna go to my old journal and see if i can find any old things there that are decent looking at all. i dont want to post total crap.

it will be a tedious task, but i think it will pay off in the long run. i have class in an hour and a half, then i need to get groceries cuz all i have left is rice and cereal pretty much.

mk, with that, im off to begin my work on my goal (or maybe ill do that during class) and to work on my quote book for luv_minerva over at _wishlist_.

So I made colorbars for three of my favorite things of the moment:

-Willow Rosenberg (from Buffy the Vampire Slayer)

I already started my own small business! Last year, my friend and I officially started our photography business. Our main work consists of senior pictures, gallery art, and headshots. Basically, we noticed that senior portraits are ridiculously expensive and we started working with a printer that could do the exact same packages as an expensive studio for so much cheaper (yet still the same quality) that we can offer the same thing for half the price. It is really fulfilling, because senior pictures and headshots can get so expensive. We even did a huge (58x36) stretched canvas, commissioned art piece for a client this summer for only $300. This business has been such a blessing and we are just getting started.

Since I had to shut down my computer without fully shutting down photoshop, I lost all my brushes. As sad as this is, it allows me to FINALLY have a resource post for brush and texture crediting. So here they are under the cut, and I will link to this from my profile page.

First of all, let me start by saying I am a Britney fan. I always have been and I always will be. I can't help it. Then let me go ahead and defend her performance at the VMAs.

It was not a good comeback performance. It was not what everyone expected to see. But people are giving her so much shit and so much grief over her performance, and it's just horrible. Here are my defense points:

Okay, so Britney's new song was supposed to come out Saturday, but I guess Perez Hilton leaked it yesterday. AND apparently Life & Style magazine (i believe that's who it was) claims to have a couple more songs.

It's definitely not typical Britney, and in my opinion she is a little too fond of her chest voice, but i LOVE it. It's really mellow and I love that...it makes me think of the cabaret version of BOMT.

I absolutely love Britney Spears and even though everyone doubts her (I did jump on the doubt train after the OK magazine fiasco...but I jumped off at the nearest train station to grab Brit and board the HOT TAMALE TRAIN!!!! haha)
