Yeah, totally forgot to write about this before, but The Sword of Truth Series by Terry Goodkind has been made into a tv series. Sam Raimi is involved, and its already been syndicated for 22 episodes on ABC. First episode is on November 1st. *squee* Super stoked...although I have to admit that they made Richard A LOT younger than I had expected.

Ok, if you have ever signed up with Victoria's Secret check your email. I just got a coupon good for $20 discount on ANYTHING. Its only good for 4 days and you can only use it once (otherwise I would totally try to hook you ladies up) but its seriously just a straight out discount! Just used mine to purchase pants off of VS.com. Because amazingly they offer pants with a 36' inseam and I have not bought them before. (SHOCK!)Plus the pants that I ordered were originally 39.50 on Clearance for 13.99. Who can argue with that? So I just ordered 2 pairs of pants, got my twenty dollar discount and wound up paying a whole 17 bucks (had to add in shipping and tax)....For 2 pairs of slacks...that were originally 40 bucks EACH. How freaking awesome is that?!?

KAte will be here soon!!! Ok, well her second flight was delayed because of some huge thunderstorm thats making its way across the country, but I should be leaving in about 30 minutes to go pick her up at the airport. X3 So excited! Aside from my parents brief visit in January, this is going to be the first person to really visit us here in NC. Got the spare bedroom all set up and lots of plans. So can't wait. Yay!! Girl time!

I remember someone posted a video about this game...I thought it was a cute idea, and in my travels to find easy fun games ot play at work I stumbled across "Magic Pen". Its got the same concept as "Crayon Physics" but everything is in shapes. SO yeah, its fun and challenging, and I thought I would share it with all of you. :)

Just got back from lunch...yeah its 2:30, so I didn't leave until 1:30. Oh well. But as I walked from my car to the office some truck honked at me and the guys inside made cat calls! I mean I know I look good, but was that really necessary?

Well, today is finally coming to an end. I had to work today which sucked, but what sucked even more was the fact that I was only supposed to work until 3:30, but ended up staying until 6 because one girl called in sick, and my manager decided that her spending time with her loser boyfriend was more important than me going home when I was supposed to and finally being able to spend a V-day with my husband. Add on to that the fact that I didn't get a single break, and I wsa at my breaking point. When I got home I was pissed off, couldn't stop crying, and wanted absolutley nothing more than to crawl in bed.
But Joseph made me get moving, and he took me out to dinner and a movie. Finally got to see Narnia which was pretty good. And I made Joseph choclate covered strawberries yesterday so we are still munching on those.
*yawns* definatly bed time

11:34 pm - Yes, I seriously waant to hurt Taru's Brother...

Ok, so Joseph and I went up to Camarillo for his polygraph test, and we got there about 3 o'clock this morning. I parked on the street in front of my parents house like always, and we went inside to get a little bit of sleep. Well, apparently around 5 this morning Taru's "brilliant" brother drove around the corner, missing Erics truck but going right into the rear bumper of my car. And then he left. HE LEFT.
Close to 10 o'clock he showed back up and told Eric what had happened. So then Eric came in and told me. At first I was thinking it was a joke, but when I threw on my sandels and went out sure enough the left side of my bumper is scratched to hell, there are chunks of plastic hanging from the bumper, and the bottom part of the bumper is broken. But thankfully that was all.
The brother had said he was going to return with his insurnace info but never did. So I called Taru's house and got the beginning of the insurance information, then the brother showed up at my parents house. So I got off the phone with Taru and met the brother. As soon as I opened the door he started ACCUSING me and making it seem like it was MY FAULT that he was a dumbass and hit my PARKED car. I was so caught off guard that I went to my parents in the kitchen and asked if they had heard what the brother had said. They said no, and when I repeated what he had said Eric went out to deal with him, and I ended up crying. I just didn't understand what I did to deserve being treated like that. So while I cried and went to wake up Joseph to take care of the car, Eric came back in and he was fuming. The brother had left and all Eric could say was that he was a dick. Apparently he was pissed that I said I was going to report the accident, and when Eric told him to chill and just be happy we didn't call the cops on him for a hit and run he tried to charge at Eric to see if he would hit him or start a fight.
This whole ordeal is horrible. I'm so sorry Taru that you and Okaa-san are stuck in this. And I'm sorry, but I totally HATE you're brother.
I want him to pay for his mistake, but I'm afraid Okaa-san would really be the one paying. I don't want her money, because its not her fault and shes done so much for me.
Geez, this sucks. I hate idiots.

Well, last night Jo and I talked and things are a lot better now. I had been so upset I was planning on yelling at him, but I just can't do it. Instead I ended up crying, but still told him everything I needed to. He didn't realize that he had hurt me and apologized profucely.
Just getting all that out helped so much. I felt like a weigt has been lifted and actually enjoyed being around him again. So things are better in that aspect.
Other than that we should be heading up to Cam. late Sunday night because Jo has his polygraph test with the VC Sheriff Dept. early Monday. So we should be in Cam Monday, but will most likely head back to SD Mon. night because I have another interview Tuesday night.
SO yeah, I'm feeling better.

Ok, lesson learned. if you post your resume on monster then you get 10 million phone calls that are seriously getting annoying. But I guess its good to be getting so much attention. Too bad they all seem to be staffing agencys. So I've signed up with 2 agencies. Now its just a matter of waiting.
Other than that I've been getting really irritated at Jo. Today was the second day in a row that he snapped at me for no reason. Yeah I know hes stressed and hates his current job, but its no reason to take it out on me. I was so pissed this morning that I just got dressed and took off. Although it wasn't really planned I ended up spending a couple hours at work just talking to Jenn and Elsie. I was really glad they were working. I just really needed a girl friend to talk to. Gawd I hate feeling so alone.

Well I had my first interview today. It went well since its a temp agency. So I did all the paperwork and now I just have to wait and see what happens. My next interview is tomarrow. Which reminds me I really need to lower the hem on my new suit pants...
OH! And for anyone WHO NEEDS A SUIT:
JCPenney is having a really good sale right now. The suit that I bought today is normally $200 and I paid $70. So its worth a look if you need one. ;)

11:04 pm - good news and bad news

Ok, first the good news. I posted my resume on monster.com late last night and I was getting phone calls early this morning from people wanting to interview me! So for now i have two interviews set up. One tomarrow and one the day after that.
The other good news is that Joseph got a call from the VC sheriff dept. and they want him to go in and get a polygraph test! Sounds weird but this is great because this is putting him one step closer to getting the Sheriff job in ventura. *crosses fingers* Hopefully! I know that their academy starts in March, so we'll just have to wait and hope and see.
Now for the bad news. Joseph also got a call from the jerks he works for now. Basically they are trying to rip us off by saying that they can't prove that Joseph has the security clearance he got from the military. So they are cutting his pay. WTF!?! We're barely scraping by as it is and now this fucking happens!?! I swear those people are fucking retards because Joseph handed the paper to them. They have the proof. They just don't want to pay him his right amount. GR!
So yeah, today has been a lot of ups and downs. We also went into our leasing office today because our lease is up. Since we don't know whats going to happen with Joseph and the Ventura job we are now going month to month. Man, I really hope he gets that job.
