We’d like to recognize two of our members:
Congratulations to

The Puget Sound Chapter of the Association of Professional Genealogists (PS-APG) was established in 2002 by members of the Association of Professional Genealogists who felt a need to communicate with other professionals in the Puget Sound area and to provide an opportunity for growth for those seeking to become professionals. Since our formation we have welcomed members from other Northwest states and Canada. If you are a practicing or aspiring professional genealogist, join our organization.
If you are looking for research assistance with your genealogy or family history, please feel free to contact our members directly by going to our Member Directory.

The Puget Sound chapter received the Golden Chapter Award on December 7, 2022. The award recognized the chapter “for their many efforts to provide consistent service to existing members and to grow their membership.” The chapter successfully transitioned to virtual meetings and focused on professional development for its members, which lead to a 43% growth in chapter membership.
Thank you to the Association of Professional Genealogists for acknowledging the efforts of the PS-APG.
