ProRemote is the World's first 32 channel touch sensitive control surface that fits in the palm of your hand. ProRemote allows you to control your Audio applications wirelessly using your existing Wi-Fi network. Get realtime meter data and control your rig from across the room with flying faders! One binary runs on your iPad, iPhone, and iPod Touch! ProRemote LE and ProRemote are now identical apps! - Are you behind the drums and need to check your levels and press record? - Do you frequently need to be in two places at the same time? - Do you like sitting on the couch and playing guitar instead of being glued to the computer? ProRemote is your solution! ProRemote is free to try or you can subscribe to all the features or just a subset. If you only need basic control, just the transport subscription can be added. Or have a look at ProTransport, an inexpensive "transport only" solution for controlling your rig. ProRemote on an iPad is like having four Mackie Control Universal Pros, but better because it's wireless and much less expensive. You get almost $4k of hardware for the price of ProRemote. And ProRemote also works on your iPhone and iPad, or both at the same time. Need an XY controller? Check out Pro XY. Use gravity to turn your knobs! Pro XY can also be unlocked in ProRemote. MIDI pads for drum programming or other tasks sounds nice, right? ProPads is your solution and can also be subscribed to within ProRemote. ProRemote also contains a virtual mouse and keyboard that allows full control of your audio machine for those hard to reach places! You can see and control your full computer from anywhere in your studio! This version officially supports: - ProTools - Apple Logic - Ableton Live - Soundtrack Pro - Digital Performer Unofficially we support (no skin or custom fader tapers, not all features may work): - Cubase - MIO Console - Sonar - Reaper - Reason - Vegas - FL Studio - Studio One - Audition - Tracktion - Final Cut Pro - Any audio software that supports Mackie Control protocol (or HUI protocol). ** You must download ProRemoteServer in order to use ProRemote. ** Please visit www.folabs.com/download.html to download the server. ProRemote is Mac only- Windows is unofficially supported via the new CoreMIDI feature that uses Apple CoreMIDI instead of our own protocol. Use rtpMIDI on Windows. CoreMIDI is not officially supported because it is buggy. ** PLEASE report bugs to us instead of leaving a bad review! ** Send a bug report to [email protected] and we will fix the bug ASAP as we work on the next release. We want this release to be as rock-solid as our last version so you can focus on making music. * Please note that certain Avid or Digidesign Ethernet based control surfaces can interfere with ProRemote's ability to control all 32 channels. In some cases ProTools will limit MIDI control surfaces to eight channels only. Please contact us before purchasing if you are unsure. * We will no longer support any iOS less than iOS 14 with this release. * For those users with older devices that cannot run iOS 14, just stay with the older version of ProRemote, it is still fully supported and can still be restored from the AppStore without problems. * Terms of Use: https://www.apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula/

Version History THIS IS OUR LAST UPDATE TO ProRemote LE! ProRemote and ProRemote LE are now identical, please migrate over to ProRemote. ProRemote LE will continue to work as long as Apple lets it. - This version fixes a crash bug that occurs when the remote can't find a server. - Also added support for CoreMIDI so Windows users can now use ProRemote if they like. Please note this is an unsupported feature dues to bugs in Apple's CoreMIDI network implementation. 4.5.0 04/01/2025 Everything is new in this version of ProRemote. ProRemote was written a long time ago and has evolved over 14 years. Much of that old code has become unsupported by Apple which means it could be the source of bugs when Apple updates the OS. They no longer test unsupported APIs. It took over a year, but all that code has been replaced with new code that should last another 10+ years. It wouldn't be fair to do so much work and have no new features, so we added a bunch of features to the Pads utility which now includes gesture support and some other neat tricks it can do. A 10-key numeric keypad was also added. ProRemote is now localized in French with other languages coming soon. ProRemote LE and ProRemote are now identical apps! 4.0.0 11/30/2021 With so many different screen sizes, we needed to make minor fixes for the right side bank arrow. We also removed the Watch app as Apple makes it hard to maintain our software. 3.1.2 01/19/2019 Fixes missing right side bank shift button (white double arrow). 3.1.1 03/21/2018 Support for the iPhone X along with a few small bug fixes and improvements. 3.1.0 11/30/2017 * It's been a long time coming but this new version of ProRemote LE is completely revamped for iOS 8 and now also includes support for the Apple Watch! Yay! * We updated ProRemote LE to have a "stretchable UI" so that it can support all the various iPhone and iPad display sizes. * Finally added a restore purchases button for your hard earned upgrades. ** Because the code is all new, PLEASE report bugs to us instead of leaving a bad review! ** Send a bug report to [email protected] and we will fix the bug ASAP as we work on 3.0.1. We want this release to be as rock-solid as our last version so you can focus on making music. *** Be sure to update your ProRemoteServer on your Mac to the latest version (3.0.0) or ProRemote LE will complain that you do not have the latest! *** * We will no longer support any iOS less than iOS 8 with this release. * For those users with older devices that cannot run iOS 8, just stay with the older version of ProRemote LE, it is still fully supported and can still be restored from the AppStore without problems. * Known issues: - If you cannot connect from your Apple Watch and get an error, be sure to first launch ProRemote LE on your phone and connect to a server. Then quit ProRemote and wait a few minutes and then try again on the Watch. - Avid changed their control surface fader taper recently and as a result, the latest version of ProTools' and ProRemote LE's db scales are off by 0.2db. We will address this in 3.0.1. 3.0.0 07/16/2015 - Fixes a minor problem with the Solo and Mute keys. *** Requires newer ProRemoteServer *** 2.5.4 08/31/2012 Minor bug fixes. Please be sure to download the latest server from our web site. It is required for this update. 2.5.3 07/28/2012 - iOS 5 support - Snow Leopard support for VuMouse feature (please download our updated server from our website) - Push notification fixes (important updates only) - Retina display icons for the new iPad - Bug fixes 2.5.2 03/28/2012 - Another attempt at getting our new Mouse feature to appear as a "In App Purchase". 2.5.1 07/05/2011 * In App Purchase * Remote mouse and keyboard support! Now you can access any part of your computer remotely from within ProRemote. You can even see where the mouse is without being in front of your display. * NEW * Raw controls view, access all the low-level Mackie Controls including a new Jog Wheel. Users with the Advanced Editing upgrade get this feature for free. - Additional text display at top of screen for Mackie Control users. - Major performance improvements, more responsive, faster rotation, etc... - Some new retina display graphics and new button graphics (still more to come in the future). - Lots of internal bug fixes and enhancements we hope you won't notice. We reimplemented some key features. - Server side MIDI output improvements. - Improved memory handling. - New application icon. - Basic support for VoiceOver, visually impaired folks can now gain basic control of software like ProTools that has no support for screen readers by using ProRemote. ** Official support for Digital Performer added ** - Unofficial support has been added for: -- Cubase -- MIO Console -- Sonar -- Reaper -- Reason -- Vegas -- FL Studio -- Studio One -- Audition -- Tracktion -- Final Cut Pro 2.5 05/31/2011 ** Important fix for In App Purchase failing due to multitasking. ** - ProRemote LE no longer requires the user to restart the application after purchasing upgrades.
