Program System LimA is a professional software suite for environmental noise modeling and mapping, developed by Stapelfeldt Ingenieurgesellschaft mbH. LimA supports recognized national and international calculation methods (such as CNOSSOS‑EU and ISO 9613), helping users comply with the EU Environmental Noise Directive and similar regulations. Its robust propagation algorithms and GIS-friendly workflows produce reliable noise contours, facade levels, and population exposure metrics (e.g., Lden, Lnight), making it well suited for strategic city-scale mapping as well as detailed project studies.
