We are looking for a PMO Expert with 5+ years experience in IT project management field.
About the role
The PMO Expert in our client’s GBS is responsible for overall support in different Portfolio Governance and Change Adoption related services and areas within the PMO organization starting from the vision and ideas till the implementation and ownership of such factors.
The role supports project and product portfolios primarily within our client’s GBS IT, with occasional involvement in Corporate and Strategic programs, while partnering with Area PMOs to enhance their processes through reporting, analytics, and insights that improve efficiency and decision‑making.
Tasks
- Align with GBS IT PMO organizations and within portfolios and programs assess possible needs and requirements in terms of PMO Governance and Change Adoption services
- Maintain deep expertise in all PMO service components to effectively handle change requests, drive improvements, and ensure service excellence
- Lead and facilitate collaboration across Portfolio Governance & Change Adoption teams and Area PMO communities to ensure consistent implementation, maintenance, and evolution of PMO processes and services
- Perform ongoing quality checks on project management practices, overseeing reporting, data accuracy, performance tracking, and resource alignment to prevent conflicts and delays
- Support continuous enhancement of the PMO framework—structure, processes, modules, and tools—while maintaining accurate, comprehensive functional documentation
- Act as an ambassador of GBS IT Portfolio Governance & Change Adoption services, communicating updates, managing administrative tool requests, transforming challenges into improvements, and reporting on progress within the PMO area
Requirements
- College or University degree(IT/Business Degree or Equivalent)
- Prince2, PMP, ITIL is an advantage
- 5 years relevant work experience IS / IT service/program delivery of corporate or shared services organization
- Experience with ServiceNow SPM(or other PPM tool), Jira, Azure DevOps and MS Project is an advantage
- Portfolio management / Project Management / Program Management experience
- Fluency in English (verbal and written), other languages are advantage
- Skilled in PMO processes, reporting, and project portfolio tooling
- Good communication and collaboration skills required
- Strong analytical skills to assess project risks, dependencies, and performance metrics
- Good team player with ease of connecting to others
