Privacy Policy

Last Updated: September 25, 2025

1) Who we are & what this policy covers

Primal Pit Paste (“we,” “our,” “us”) operates https://primalpitpaste.com/. We’re a U.S.–focused editorial website that reviews and compares online brands—primarily iGaming/online gambling operators—and may cover other affiliate verticals from time to time. Our content includes rankings, guides, and outbound links to third-party sites. We do not run a casino, take bets, open user accounts, or process payments on this site.

This Privacy Policy explains what we collect, how we use it, how we share it, and your choices—especially for U.S. residents in states with privacy laws.

2) What we collect

We aim to collect only what we need to operate and improve the site.

  • Browsing & device data. When you visit, we may automatically collect IP address, general location (city/region derived from IP), browser type, device/OS, pages viewed, referring/exit pages, timestamps, and cookie or mobile advertising IDs.
  • Analytics, ads & affiliate parameters. We use cookies/IDs and URL parameters such as UTMs, click IDs, and outbound link events to understand traffic sources, measure performance, detect invalid activity, and attribute affiliate commissions when you click to a partner.
  • No sensitive categories. We do not intentionally collect sensitive personal information (e.g., precise geolocation, health, biometrics, race/ethnicity, union membership, or government IDs).

We do not maintain user accounts, offer checkout, or collect payment information on this site. If you contact us by email (details in the site footer), we will receive whatever information you choose to send.

3) How we use information

We use information to:

  • Operate, secure, and maintain the site (including preventing fraud/abuse and troubleshooting).
  • Measure traffic and engagement, improve articles and rankings, and understand what content is useful.
  • Run advertising (including frequency capping and basic personalization where enabled).
  • Attribute affiliate commissions to understand which links lead to sign-ups or purchases with our partners.
  • Comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms.

We do not send marketing emails or newsletters from this site.

4) Cookies & tracking

Cookies, pixels, SDKs, and similar technologies help us recognize your browser/device, remember preferences, analyze site usage, serve or limit ads, and attribute affiliate referrals (e.g., when a link includes a network click ID and the partner sets a cookie to recognize your visit).

Your controls:

  • Most browsers let you block or delete cookies. You can also use private browsing modes and reset mobile advertising IDs.
  • Some browsers and extensions support Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals. Where feasible, we treat GPC as a “Do Not Sell or Share” opt-out for cross-context behavioral advertising.
  • To opt out of “sale/share” (as defined under California law) or targeted advertising where applicable, use the “Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information” link in our footer (where available) or contact us as described in the Contact section.

Note: Blocking cookies or opting out may affect site functionality or the relevance of ads you see.

5) Advertising, analytics & affiliates

We use commonly available analytics tools (e.g., website analytics) and may work with ad networks and affiliate networks. We don’t list vendors here because they may change over time, but typical categories include:

  • Analytics providers to measure visits, pages, and events.
  • Advertising networks/exchanges to serve, cap, or tailor ads and measure their performance.
  • Affiliate networks and merchant programs to track when an outbound link from our site results in a sign-up or purchase, which may generate compensation for us.

Outbound links to third-party sites may contain IDs so the partner can attribute your visit and reward us if you convert. We may receive a commission when you click those links and subsequently take action on a partner site.

6) Sharing of information

We share information in these situations:

  • Service providers. Hosting, security, analytics, anti-fraud, and similar vendors that help us run the site under contracts that limit their use of data.
  • Ad/affiliate partners. To enable ad delivery, measurement, and affiliate attribution. Under some state laws (e.g., California), this may be considered “sharing” for cross-context behavioral advertising or “selling” even though we do not exchange personal information for money.
  • Legal/compliance. If required by law, regulation, subpoena, court order, or to protect rights, safety, or integrity of our users, partners, or the site.

We do not sell personal information for money.

7) Your privacy rights (U.S. states)

Depending on where you live (e.g., California, Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah), you may have some or all of the following rights:

  • Access/Know. Request the categories and/or specific pieces of personal information we have collected about you.
  • Delete. Ask us to delete personal information we collected, subject to legal exceptions (e.g., security, debugging).
  • Correct. Request correction of inaccurate personal information (where applicable).
  • Portability. Receive a copy of certain information in a portable format (where applicable).
  • Opt-out of “sale/share” or targeted advertising. Opt out of our use/disclosure of personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising or targeted ads.
  • Limit use of sensitive personal information. We do not use sensitive personal information for inferring characteristics or for any purpose that requires offering this limit.
  • Non-discrimination. We won’t discriminate against you for exercising your privacy rights.

How to exercise your rights:

  • Use the “Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information” link in our footer (where available) to opt out of “sale/share” or targeted advertising, or
  • Contact us using the information provided in our site footer. Please include your state of residence and the right you want to exercise.

We will take reasonable steps to verify your request (for example, by confirming control of the email/browser/device associated with your request). If we decline your request, you may appeal by replying to our decision with “Appeal” in the subject line. If you still have concerns, you may contact your state attorney general.

You may use an authorized agent where permitted by law. We may require proof of authorization and verification of your identity.

8) Data retention & security

  • Retention. We keep analytics data for about 24 months and server logs for about 12 months, unless we need them longer for security, fraud prevention, legal, or operational reasons. Affiliate and advertising records may be retained per partner requirements and applicable law.
  • Security. We use reasonable safeguards such as HTTPS/TLS, access controls, and regular software updates. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.

9) Children’s privacy

This site is not directed to individuals under 21. Do not use this site or submit information if you are under 21. If you believe a minor has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.

10) Third-party links & disclaimers

We link to third-party websites and services (including casinos, sportsbooks, wallets, payment services, and exchanges). Their data practices are governed by their own policies. Please review those policies carefully—we are not responsible for them.

11) Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version here with a new “Last updated” date.

12) Contact

To ask questions, exercise your rights, or submit a “Do Not Sell or Share” request, please use the contact information provided in the website footer. If you cannot locate it, you can also reach us through any other contact method published on our site.

13) Not legal advice

This Privacy Policy is for general information and transparency. It is not legal advice.
