Where you going?

Hello, people who are accidentally still watching my blog. I'm going to attempt to get back into Livejournal. It's almost entirely because of fandom. And how much I despise trying to be in fandom on tumblr. The inability to create an isolated fandom corner for myself there just results in me being mad at everything all the time.

Just for fun there's an angry rant about the Pretties/Uglies series (never read it) under the cut.

I can't decide if this is EPICALLY lame in a good way or a bad way.

Also my iPod autocorrects the word 'EPICALLY' to all caps.

Two fans have opened up a donation fund for cancer research in Elisabeth Sladen's name. smercy told me their original goal was £1,000 (which was reached in 18 hours) and then changed to £2,000 and there's currently been over £5,000 donated. So I'm posting to link share the link.

I think I thought Elisabeth Sladen would live forever.

I don't like talking in past tense when these things happen. It's so brutally sudden.

The BBC's announcement has a lot of beautiful comments from people who knew her.

I was going to link to compilation video set to Alex Dupree's Sarah is Rising but I can't deal with it right now so here's Lis and the rest of the SJA gang being utterly delightful on some kid's after school program.

(But I'm sorry for people who liked Caprica. I'm just also... happy for me. ::cough:: Sorry again.)

edit: oh, God, I wish no one else was home. I just want to loudly sing along with the Pokérap.
