Mark Bartle
Senior Valuer
Mark Bartle has over 25 years of experience within the jewellery and watch industry and is one of Prestige Valuations' most experienced senior valuers.
Mark's career was built within the insurance claims sector, where he spent many years assisting insurers, brokers and loss adjusters with the validation, assessment and replacement of jewellery and watch losses. This gave him extensive first-hand experience of the jewellery market, replacement costs, manufacturing processes and the practical realities of restoring clients to their pre-loss position following a claim.
Today, Mark applies that same depth of knowledge from the opposite perspective. Drawing upon decades of experience assessing lost, damaged and replaced items, he now specialises in the valuation of high-value jewellery, coloured gemstones, diamonds and prestige timepieces for insurance purposes.
His expertise spans both European and Asian jewellery, together with many of the world's leading luxury watch brands. Having spent years understanding what items genuinely cost to replace and how values are established in the marketplace, Mark is particularly skilled at producing accurate, well-supported valuations for private clients, insurers and brokers alike.
Having been a valued member of the Prestige Valuations team for more than a decade, Mark is regularly entrusted with the appraisal of significant jewellery collections, exceptional individual pieces and complex luxury watches, where experience, market knowledge and attention to detail are paramount.
