Preply

Preply is a language learning app where you can get the help of tutors who will teach you how to speak more than 50 different languages. Most tutors are available for English, Spanish, German, Italian, French, Japanese and Portuguese.

Choose a tutor

When you register with Preply, you can choose the language you want to learn. You can choose whether you want classes to include a specific set of vocabulary, such as business-oriented vocabulary, or content for beginners. Once you have done that, you will have to choose a tutor, where each profile has important information like the tutor's name, number of reviews, average score obtained from those reviews or a photo, among other information.

Hire the tutor that's right for you

Each session with a tutor lasts 50 minutes. You can choose when you want the lesson, and after choosing the time, you will see the final cost. When you hire a tutor, a chat box will open up where you can talk to them directly to discuss anything related to the lessons.

Add vocabulary and review it whenever you like

If you learn a new word that you are struggling to memorize, Preply allows you to add it to your vocabulary list. In this section, in collaboration with the Oxford English Dictionary, you can add words, choose a meaning, and revise vocabulary in an entertaining game. You can practice by listening to a word and selecting the correct answer among four different words.
