Last week Michael put together a strong showing in a win over rivals Park, and this week it was Michael leading the way with 22 points in a win over Kenosha ITA to clinch a conference title for Case. Lewis initially caught my eye a year or two ago with his scrappy on ball defense, and once again displayed that blend of quickness and tenacity on the defensive end. He’s willing to pick up full-court on his own and really pressure opposing point guards. Offensively he’s relentless attacking the basket, and also had some nice cuts off the ball leading to easy finishes. Explodes off two feet to rise up and finish in traffic.
Yet another very talented player in the state’s loaded 2027 class, Lewis is an offensive-minded player who can get points in bunches. He is outstanding at slashing his way to the basket, scores well in transition and can break down defenders with his mid-range jumper and driving ability in the half court. Lewis can also drop some three-point shots if defenders play to far off of him. He had a strong sophomore season at Racine Case, averaging 11.2 points and 5.0 rebounds. Lewis is one of five returning starters for a Case squad many expect to contend for the Southeast Conference crown in 2025-26.
Michael is a bit more established than the other players on this list, but I think we could see him take another leap forward as a junior. Case always seems to have a guard putting up big numbers on a consistent basis, and with their top scorer from last season graduated, Lewis looks like the next in line. Lewis really caught my attention earlier in his high school career as a defender, as he’s very quick laterally and is scrappy going for loose balls. On the offensive end he can hang in the air for acrobatic finishes against size, and although he’s not yet a great shooter, he can make you pay for leaving him open. Michael scored 11.2 points per game last season, and I won’t be surprised if he helps Case improve upon their 11-14 record.
Lewis helped the Racine Truth
club program to a 7-1 record in the adidas Gold circuit and that success earned them a spot on the adidas 3SSB circuit in July. Racine Truth
went 25-9 on the campaign and was led by Lewis, a versatile guard who can score and rebounds well for his size. Lewis had a huge game on the 3SSB circuit earlier this month, scoring 25 points, grabbing nine rebounds and making 13-of-14 foul shots in a 75-71 win over Jamal Shead Elite. A third-team all-Southeast Conference selection as a sophomore, Lewis averaged 11.2 points and 5.0 rebounds as a sophomore for a Racine Case squad that finished 11-14.
