was one of the biggest eye-catchers from the event. He was a near impossible matchup because of his size and skill around the rim, racking up 18 points, 7 rebounds, and 2 blocks against Dorman, plus 13 points, 7 rebounds, and 1 block against Riverside.

Bryson led the 16U division in scoring at 17.5 PPG. Big, powerful forward with advanced offensive skills for his size and position. Very mobile and active on both ends of the floor, consistently running the court and staying involved in plays. Strong rebounder who controls the glass and creates second-chance opportunities. Scores effectively in multiple ways around the basket and shows a soft touch in traffic and around the rim. Impactful all-around player who contributes in several areas. Solid Division I prospect with significant upside and long-term potential.

. Schofield had a crucial performance to keep the defending 3A State Champs from falling to 0-3 on Wednesday Night, posting a dominant 13 points, 10 rebounds, and 3 blocks. The first thing that stands out to you when watching Bryson is his impressive physical frame and athleticism. He is near-unstoppable with early position in the post and rebounds the ball high and strong. However, late in the game, Schofield also displayed his skill with a pair of mid-range jumpers that helped the Raiders finish a much-needed win.

Bryson was running with Team USC Unleashed this weekend. I caught up with him early on Saturday, and he had a big showing in a dominant win. Schofield showcased his sturdy body and used it to his advantage in the paint. He has good timing on the glass and in protecting the rim, gets off the ground well with good bounce, and can even bring the ball up after a defensive stand. On the offensive end, most of Schofield’s production was at the rim, where he was powerful in the post.

Schofield is one of the best young rebounders I have seen this summer. He has a knack for cleaning the glass on both ends of the floor with terrific instincts for where the ball falls and the size and strength to grab it once it gets there. Brayson can handle the ball and push the pass at times but also has the foundation of a post-game. He can turn over either should and finishes strong around the rim. In a matchup with Abbeville, Schofield had a monster performance with 10 Points, 16 Rebounds, and 3 Blocks showing tantalizing flashes in multiple departments.
