Ryan Libey Ryan Libey 6'0" | MB/RS Ridgeline | 2027 State WA will hit the court at Summer NIT as the No. 12 player in Washington and a committed athlete to Northern Arizona University, but she is focused more on teamwork and competitiveness than individual rankings. The middle blocker is excited to bring energy, physicality, and leadership into Arizona while continuing to help her team compete against some of the strongest programs in the country. She wants coaches to notice the emotional connection and trust her team plays with, especially in difficult moments when matches tighten.

What stands out most about Libey is the maturity in the way she discusses competition. Even as a committed athlete, she views Summer NIT as another opportunity to sharpen her game and continue proving herself against elite front-row talent. She specifically mentioned excitement surrounding high-level matchups because she believes difficult competition exposes areas where athletes still need to improve, and she welcomes that challenge.

Off the court, Libey describes herself as hardworking, loyal, and deeply team-oriented while valuing environments built around communication, accountability, and strong relationships.

Libey has an easy bounce in the middle, and that athleticism translates into her terrific range as a blocker. The Ridgeline sophomore works side-to-side along the net with a swing block, and she sometimes dominated defensively during the 3A State Tournament. She is up quickly as an attacker and racks up kills before the block can form.

The sophomore middle brought an extra level of bounce and above-the-net play to the Falcons this season. As Libey grew more comfortable with the Ridgeline setters and speed of the varsity game, she began to dominate opponents in league play and continued her ascent in the postseason. Libbey has exceptional quickness off the floor and a high ceiling for development that will be pushed this club season.
