The official Android app for Pragyan 2013, the annual Techno-Management Festival of the National Institute of Technology, Tiruchirapalli, India. - Why do I need this app?The aim of this application is to provide an easily accessible database of the latest information, including Deadlines, Rules and Regulations, Contacts, etc on Guest Lectures, Workshops, Events and all other happenings during Pragyan '13.- What is Pragyan?Engineering is all about imagination and ingenuity. Rather than just theories and their applications, it revolves around simpler domains such as indigenous thinking, common sense and elementary logic, all of which arise from the Supreme Intelligence, the "Pragyan" in us. Technology, as we know it today, is the manifestation of a millenia of Pragyanic thought and action, which has unflinchingly served and enthralled mankind since the invention of the Wheel.Pragyan is a humble attempt to promote and foster this co-existential relationship between Man and Technology. The insignia, insinuating Man's eternally progressive leap over the Wheel of Technology, is symbolic of Pragyan’s endeavor to inculcate the spirit of engineering, innovation and forward thinking among the youth. For almost a decade, Pragyan has worked tirelessly towards this goal, churning out eight memorable editions, each of which has enlightened, emboldened and inspired an entire generation of engineers.To the freshers, welcome! To the seasoned, welcome back to this journey of exploration, revelation and awe.
