Introducing Our New Training Facility
PPATEC’s new state-of-the-art training center equips technicians with hands-on experience through realistic lab environments, modern classrooms, and expert-led instruction. The 12,000+ square-foot facility will include expanded course offerings, including air conditioning, electrical (for HVAC), gas-and-oil-fired heating systems, heat pumps, ductless mini splits, HVAC installations, plumbing, and propane distribution.
Air Conditioning
PPATEC offers multiple air conditioning classes throughout the year. Our technical training courses range from one-day refresher classes to multi-day programs designed to improve skill sets for all levels of HVAC technicians. PPATEC also offers refrigerant certification for EPA 608 and A2L. Classes occur at our 12,000+ sq ft trade school, which features three classrooms and five labs. The labs are equipped with 75+ live-fire systems and simulator equipment that allow technicians to receive a wide range of hands-on training opportunities. - Proper A/C tune-up procedures and sequence of operation

Gas Heat
PPATEC offers multiple gas-fired heating classes throughout the year. Our technical training courses range from one-day refresher classes to multi-day programs designed to improve skill sets for all levels of HVAC technicians. PPATEC offers training for both gas boilers and gas furnaces. Classes occur at our 12,000+ sq ft trade school, which features three classrooms and five labs. GAS HEAT LAB
Oil Heat
PPATEC is the premier solution for oil heat training. Our technical training courses range from multi-day programs designed to improve skill sets for all levels of HVAC technicians who work on oil-fired heating systems. PPATEC also offers NORA certification and CEUs for NORA Bronze, NORA Silver, and NORA Gold. Classes occur at our 12,000+ sq ft trade school, which features a dedicated oil-fired lab with 15+ live fire units and simulator equipment that allow technicians to receive a wide range of hands-on training opportunities. - Hands-on training for Beckett, Carlin, and Riello oil burners

Classes occur at our 12,000+ sq ft trade school, which features a dedicated lab for HVAC equipment installation. PPATEC also offers specific classes for water heaters, well tanks, well pumps, and water treatment. Classes occur at our 12,000+ sq ft trade school, which features a dedicated hands-on training plumbing lab with water heaters, kitchen appliances, bathroom appliances, well pumps, and water treatment equipment. - Basics of residential plumbing
- Proper plumbing procedures for water supply, drains, connections, and fittings

Propane Distribution
PPATEC offers multiple propane classes throughout the year. Our technical training courses are designed to improve skill sets for all levels of propane professionals and HVAC contractors who work on propane-fired equipment. PPATEC propane training offerings are structured based on the Propane Education & Research Council (PERC) curriculum. This covers both the existing Certified Employee Training Program (CETP) and the relevant replacement modules available for PERC Education Program (PEP). Classes occur at our 12,000+ sq ft trade school, which is the premier facility in the region for hands-on exterior and interior propane training solutions. Some highlights of our propane classes include:
