Submission and Judging

  • Submissions are due via DevPost by 11:30AM on June 12th
  • You will have 3 minutes to present your solution to judges and 2 minutes for judge questions

Judging Criteria and Winner Selection

  • Each team will be judged by the organization you are creating a solution for, as well as a group of local tech professionals. The judging schedule is in your resource folder, along with a copy of the judging rubric.

Code of Conduct

PowerUpTech and TechBuffalo are dedicated to providing a safe and comfortable environment and harassment-free experience for everyone, regardless of the following:

  • previous hackathon attendance or lack of
  • computing experience or lack of
  • chosen programming language or tech stack
We do not tolerate harassment of PowerUpTech participants in any form. Sexual language and imagery is not appropriate at any PowerUpTech venue, this includes the following.
  • talks, presentations, or demos
  • workshops
  • any parties associated to the tech design challenge
  • social media
  • any other online media
PowerUpTech participants violating these rules may be sanctioned or expelled from the design challenge at the discretion of the hackathon organisers.
