About us
Post Castelijn Casting is a casting agency based in Amsterdam. The casting directors of Post Castelijn have been providing the casting for many (award-winning) feature films, television series, commercials, theatre productions, musicals and voice-over projects for over thirty years.
Casting is a substantive, creative and artistic process in which the script and dialogue come to life through the actors who bring them to the screen or stage. We guide this process from the very beginning of the project up to the very last role.
Together with the director and producer, we develop a shared vision of the ideal cast. We then take our shared vision into our casting studio, to find the right actor for each role.
Registration
Actors and actresses with completed professional training and/or several years of relevant work experience, may register with us at any time. Anyone who does not (yet) meet these criteria is also encouraged to fill out the registration form. We will then review your submission for consideration.
When we are looking for (semi-professional) actors outside our existing database, we often post a call on our social media channels. Follow us there to stay updated!
We do everything we can to create a welcoming environment in our studio, one in which actors can present their best selves during auditions. We work with both trained and untrained actors, as well as undiscovered talent.
We do this with a dedicated team of casting directors who have earned their stripes in various disciplines within the casting profession and who can support and inspire one another. You will often find us in theatres, at theatre schools, training programs and at festivals—always on the lookout for new talent. We closely follow the development of both emerging and established actors, helping us maintain a clear view on existing talent.
