Fabricated and Stock Rebar
At PTS Reinforcing, quality, efficiency, and customer convenience drive everything we do. Unlike many suppliers who deliver raw rebar, leaving on-site teams to handle cutting and bending, we offer advanced prefabrication services that take the burden off your shoulders. Simply send us your blueprints, and we’ll deliver custom-fabricated rebar ready for installation. This streamlined process helps construction teams save significant time and labor costs while ensuring precision and minimizing material waste.
Key Benefits of Fabricated Rebar with PTS Reinforcing
- Prefabrication Saves Time and Labor: Receive perfectly cut and shaped rebar tailored to your specifications—no on-site processing required.
- Enhanced Project Efficiency: Our ability to handle last-minute orders and provide staged deliveries ensures your schedule stays on track.
- Quality and Reliability: Our rigorous quality control ensures durable, dependable reinforcement for your project.

Post-Tension Services
Post-tensioning transforms how we build slab-on-ground foundations, leveraging concrete’s exceptional compressive strength while overcoming its natural weakness in tension. By applying an external compressive force to the concrete prior to soil-induced movements, post-tensioning enhances resistance to tensile stresses, effectively minimizing cracks and separation. This innovative method ensures stronger, more durable foundations for homes and buildings.
First introduced in residential foundations over 50 years ago, post-tensioning remains a proven engineering solution to address challenges posed by shrink-swell soils. It optimizes material usage—requiring less concrete, steel, and excavation—and reduces labor costs while maintaining structural integrity. Our trained teams prioritize safety in every step, ensuring cables are tensioned with expert precision.

Frequently Asked Questions
It is more cost efficient because you’re using less concrete. Post-tensioning enhances structural durability, reduces issues caused by shrink and swell soils, minimizes maintenance expenses, accelerates construction timelines, and provides greater design flexibility. Post-tensioning is a method of reinforcing concrete with high strength steel tendons which are tensioned with a hydraulic jack. This compresses the concrete foundation making it more resilient.
Steel cables are installed using formwork before the concrete is poured. Approximately 7-10 days after the concrete is poured, hydraulic jacks are used to stretch the cables effectively compressing the concrete.
Rebar is passive reinforcement. This means the reinforcement is placed in the concrete to assist with tensile strength but does not actively change its properties. Post-tensioning is active reinforcement. Post-tensioning is a system that actively changes the behavior of the concrete by keeping it under constant compression. Concrete is strong in compression and weak in tension.

Unlike standard concrete, PT systems place concrete under compression, significantly reducing cracking, even in expansive or shifting soils. This is especially important in areas like Oklahoma, where temperature and soil conditions can cause structural movement.
Engineering
PTS Reinforcing has solid relationships with multiple engineering firms and can facilitate value engineering with many design options for you. Our customers benefit from engineering expertise by upgrading designs to optimize the utilization of materials, concrete, and steel.
Did you know the average post-tension foundation requires less concrete than a conventionally reinforced foundation?
Benefits of value engineering: Expertise and specialization, pre-pour inspection services, cost-effective strategies.
Post-tension foundations are engineered to strengthen your foundation by compressing your foundation.
Post-tensioning isn’t just about strength—it’s also about flexibility. Post-tensioning allows for innovative architectural designs, such as longer spans, curved shapes, and open spaces, giving you the creative freedom to design without compromise.
Post-tensioning is deal for any project from parking garages and bridges to residential foundations and slabs, PT and rebar are versatile solutions for nearly any construction project. They offer the resilience and adaptability needed to meet today’s engineering demands.
The Devon Tower in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma’s tallest building, uses PT systems to achieve its sleek design and structural resilience.
