Much has happened in the past couple of years. If you've been following me on either Facebook or Tumblr, you likely already know.

I just got out of a second relationship, which ended with my (now ex) boyfriend going to jail for attacking me with a pair of scissors (he didn't stab me with them, but he did nearly break my nose).

Crazy, huh? I've been on the down low for the past month. I'm still scared for my life despite him being locked up.... Ugh.

I also lost my job of 8 years thanks to the moron. Ladies and gents, if your SO has anger/jealousy issues like whoa, keep them away from your work, yeah? I learned that lesson just a bit too late....

Anyway. Yeah. :D;;;

I woke up to a nice surprise this morning: The city of San Antonio shut off our electricity. :/ My stepfather got into a HUGE dispute with them awhile back, and never paid the bill. As a result, bye-bye electricity. I guess that would figure, huh?

We're staying out at my deceased uncle's house until we can scrounge up money to pay the damn bill. Yeah, I qualify for federal assistance, but it's not legally my house. :/ My mom and stepdad aren't legally married (long story there), so hole there, too.

I'm worried about the kittens and mama cat I left behind... :/ I don't want to come home to find them dead, or anything... We left them plenty of food and water, and are going to check on them tomorrow after I get off work. I know that cats can thrive in warm weather, but still; I worry about it being too hot...

....

The good thing? My cousin (whom lives next door) has wireless internet that reaches all the way to the house. :D SCORE BABEH. It's WAAAAYYY faster than my broadband stick, which is love. :3

I don't update in forever, and shit hits the fan. :/ I wonder how many of you have moved on to Tumblr, and other blogging platforms... (Well, I know Jenneh and Twinnie are still here... The rest of my friends' list? Hmm.)

Sooooooo...

A crapton of stuff has been happening as of late.

Back in September, we moved out of my husband's dad's house -- FINALLY. It was one of those "alleluia" moments for me, because living there was total bullshit, and my husband didn't seem to get it. We now live with his cousin, and two other people as roomies. It's a MUCH BETTER life than the one previously. Luna doesn't get swatted or kicked by some stupid bitch who doesn't care about animal abuse, and she's really happy. =) [ Me gusta! ]

Thennn... My sister and niece moved to Germany to be with my sister's husband. They were home for awhile, but they left yesterday. :/ Sigh.

Speaking of my sis, she's pregnant again. :O Yes, I'm gonna be an auntie again. Kinda exciting.

Anyway, I haven't made a post in FOREVER, so I figure I'd make one now.

DIVORCE:

As it so happens, Robert and I aren't getting one. Yet. If things keep up, we might in the future, but not right now. My family disagrees with my decision, but it's my life, and I hope they realize that. My internal bruising is healed as well, and he apologized profusely for it. It's the first time I was struck, and I'm sure it'll be the last. I appreciate the concern, though.

Maybe I'm just being shallow and stupid...

ROLEPLAY:

I joined on rpgthatneverwas as Anna von Muir, and dissideo as her as well. I haven't started RPing for the latter yet, but I'm having a lot of fun nonetheless. The Edward-mun from Dissideo made me Anna and Anna/Edward icons, and I was like "OMFG YAY" because art of them is friggin' hard to find. :/ So yay, happiness. <3

I wanna start an RP as well, perhaps a FFIV-based one. I don't know if I'd add other Final Fantasy games, though. I guess a variety would be nice...

OTHER STUFF:

- I have court tomorrow, and blah. D: I'm in SA right now.

- My stepbrother from Oregon comes in today! :D:D:D:D I'm excited, 'cause he's awesome. He's bringing his girlfriend with him, whom I can't wait to meet as well. They should be in around noon YAY. I need to peel some potatoes, and fix the upstairs bedroom (yes, I work while I'm at my dad/stepmom's house. :B) before their arrival. Can't waiiiit.

- Illianna's (my niece) formula is on recall. :/ Something about beetles getting into the powder. My sister switched her to the ready-made stuff, and I found that what she used (Similac, Sensitive, with the orange label) was on sale at my work for 30% off. Combined with my discount, it came out to about $2.40. Not too shabby for baby formula. I might go buy her a couple more bottles if the 30% off applies to stores here in SA as well.

- Speaking of Illianna, omg she's the cutest thing EVAR. ;_; She has her eyes open more often now, and is in the stage of exploring her arms, hands, ect. She smiles a lot, and coos. I love her to bits. <3 Hopefully, I get to see her and my sister today if not tomorrow.

Nothing much has happened as of late, save for my sister (i_rock_pumaz) having her baby (a girl!) about 4 weeks ago. The excitement still hasn't worn off. I can't believe I'm an auntie now. :) It's an amazing feeling.

I also joined an RP (rpgthatneverwas) as Porom. It's panfandom between Kingdom Hearts and Final Fantasy, and is looking for members. :D Sooo... If any of you are looking for something along those lines, then I encourage you to join! So far, I'm the only FFIV player, so all spots are open, including the dead like Anna and Tellah. ^__^; Everyone is super-nice as well. :)

There are a couple more RPs I'm thinking of joining, though am not sure. I don't want too many that I can't keep up with. Truly, though, I want either a FFIV RP, or one that includes all of Final Fantasy. That's a farfetched wish, though...

I've also found interest in a website called animefreak.tv. Sure, it has lots of ads, but, for some of the anime there, it's well worth it. I'm currently interested in an anime called Ookami-san to Shichinin no Nakamatachi, which is about a girl and her seven companions. They run an organization called the "Otogi Bank" which will help someone with a favor, but the person asking for the favor must give a favor in return.

Anything else? I can't think of it right now... Maybe later. :D

Yes, I've been playing a little too much Grand Theft Auto IV as of late. :O Watching the TV in the Safehouse is fun, though. "Republican Space Rangers" is my favorite show, despite it only having the same, monotonous episode. XD (Though I hear that in the game, "Episodes From Liberty City," they have a couple more, along with the radio advertised anime, "Robot Princess Bubblegum." :O Funfun. I so want.)

Yesterday was St. Patrick's Day, and no; I didn't get drunk. Wanted to, though. I really wanted to try some green beer, but Robert advised against it. I guess I'm lucky to have such a caring husband that looks out for me. :)

Then again, I couldn't anyway. My car is still in the shop. :/ The computer board that distributes electricity throughout the car is fried, and it's taking FOREVER for one to get here. I still hope they make it. I need this car to last at least another year and a half before we can buy a new one. By then, the RSX will be paid off, and we can accumulate funds faster rather than having to take money out from the bank on a loan like we did.

We've been sharing said RSX, me dropping him off at work, and vice-versa. I like it, because I don't have to wait an hour for him to come home after I get home, but hate it in the sense that I don't have as much freedom (and the gas is costly too).

Tough times, how I hate you. ._.; Bah.

I haven't drawn much as of late, save for random doodles at work, but I don't like them enough to scan them in. I guess I still have issues there. XP No writing yet, either. I've been thinking of random plots while at work, but usually forget about them by the time I get home.

The only thing keeping me afloat right now is family. My little brother (haloman213 at deviantart) is almost always on every evening, and provides an outlet for me to talk to him, which is good, because we were close growing up, and I miss him much. My stepbrothers are on either Facebook or Myspace, and they're good listeners for when I have problems. It's not so bad when I think about it that way... =)

I have work today, when I usually don't. 3-8 PM. The only good thing is I have Saturday off, so yay for that. :O

I received a mailing, and flyer at work, for $180 off my medical premium for this calendar year, which I immediately jumped for joy at, because money off my premium is music to my ears (especially with this shitty economy).

The only prerequisite? Take a Wellness Review quiz online. Woohoo!

So, I go to the website to register. It takes me friggin' TEN minutes because the first two times I register, it kept running into "I don't recognize that password" and "I don't recognize that email, would you like to email us?" problems. ._.; Blargh.

Eventually, it lets me register properly, and I get to the area with the Wellness Review.

"Sorry, the Wellness Review is closed due to technical difficulties. Please try again later."

I wanted to rip my hair out. ~____~;

The crappy thing is, this is due in two weeks. Hopefully, they'll have it fixed by then.

The website itself holds some promise, though. There are trackers for pain, stress, and weight management, all of which I can use. I just hope I can use it soon. It irritates me when things are prematurely launched... :/

In other news, I'm struggling through Porom's tale in FFIV: The After Years, trying to buy badass armor for Cecil in Dissidia, and wanting to throw my remote at the TV at Grand Theft Auto IV (which I love, because it actually has a story, unlike GTA III, and Vice City, where it was just random missions). At least I'm entertained. :B

I still haven't gone back to writing, and I know I should soon, especially after reading some of princess_coeurl's awesome fics. :D I can't believe little_mysidian hasn't been touched in over a year, and my FFN account is dormant. x_o; Blah. I hope that changes soon. I do miss writing, and love it as much as I do art... >>;

Also, SIMS. :O I plan on playing again, though not with my FFIV families (though they'll be there in cameos). I really want to focus on making my family with Arissa and Johann (and maybe a bit more with original characters) grow and mature into generations. Rynelda and Palom might be together, but that's it. I guess I just grew out of playing FFIV in Sims, and want to keep it in memories now. :O Strange, I know, but that's how I feel...

I might get Sims 3 later. It costs about as much as when Sims 2 came out, right now, which is a hefty price tag I currently can't afford, what with trying to budget stuff. Maybe with my tax return... :O
