FAQ
What are HSA and FSA?
HSAs (Health Savings Account) and FSAs (Flexible Spending Account) are tax-advantaged accounts that help cover healthcare related expenses.
FSAs are employer-owned, and typically have a “use it or lose it” rule, which means funds must usually be used within the plan year or they’re forfeited. HSAs on the other hand are individually owned, roll over annually, and stay with you for life. You can even invest HSA funds tax-free for extra flexibility.
Both accounts can be used for eligible health-related purchases, like Pop On Veneers!
How do I pay using my HSA/FSA card on Pop On Veneers’ website?
Paying with your HSA/FSA card is quick and simple. At checkout, select“Flex | Pay with HSA/FSA”(make sure to avoid using Shop Pay). From there, complete a quick eligibility check and enter your HSA/FSA debit card details to finish your purchase. It’s that easy to use your tax benefits in getting your new smile!
Who is Flex, and how do they work with Pop On Veneers?
Pop On Veneers partners with Flex to let you use your Health Savings Account (HSA) or Flexible Spending Account (FSA) for your purchase. With Flex, you can pay using the pre-tax dollars in your HSA/FSA fund, saving you 30-40% depending on your tax bracket. It’s an easy and affordable way to get the smile you’ve always wanted!
Can I combine HSA/FSA with other Pop On Veneers discounts?
Absolutely! Use your HSA/FSA funds alongside our promotions to maximize savings!
Are taxes covered by my HSA or FSA when I buy veneers?
Yes, sales tax for eligible items is covered by your HSA or FSA funds.
My HSA/FSA card was rejected—what happened?
HSA/FSA cards may be declined for several reasons, including incorrect details (like card number or zip code) or insufficient funds in the account. Since these cards work like debit cards, it’s important to check your balance with your HSA/FSA provider. Once your details are correct and funds are available, you can try again.
What if I don't have my HSA/FSA card available?
No worries! You can still choose “Flex | Pay with HSA/FSA” as your payment option at checkout. Simply enter your credit card details, and Flex will email you an itemized receipt that you can submit to your HSA/FSA provider for reimbursement.
What should I do if my FSA needs extra info for my reimbursement?
Just share the specific request from your FSA with us by emailing us atteam@poponveneers.com, and we’ll work with the Flex team to provide you with a new, updated receipt that meets their requirements. We're here to help make the process as smooth as possible!
What’s a Letter of Medical Necessity, and do I need one?
A Letter of Medical Necessity (LOMN) is a note from your healthcare provider confirming that your purchase, like Pop On Veneers, is intended to treat or manage a specific medical condition. This letter is often required by the IRS when using HSA or FSA funds to ensure the expense is eligible.
To make this process simple, Pop On Veneers partners with Flex. After completing your purchase using the “Flex | Pay with HSA/FSA” option, you’ll participate in a quick telehealth evaluation. Within 24 hours, Flex will email you an itemized receipt and your Letter of Medical Necessity.
It’s important to keep this letter for at least three years in case it’s requested by your FSA provider or the IRS during audits or reimbursement claims. The LOMN ensures your purchase is properly documented and fully compliant with HSA/FSA requirements.
I didn’t get an email from Flex with my itemized receipt and/or Letter of Medical Necessity (LOMN) —how can I get it?
First, check your spam or junk folder—emails from notifications@withflex.com sometimes get filtered there. If you still don’t see it, simply email support@withflex.com and include the email address you used for your order. They’ll be happy to assist you!
What if the date on my Letter of Medical Necessity (LOMN) doesn’t match my receipt?
This might be a time zone issue. Email us at team@poponveneers.com and we’ll work with Flex to correct the date and send you an updated letter.
What should I do if my name or date of birth is incorrect on my Letter of Medical Necessity?
Please email Flex at support@withflex.com. They will reach out to their telehealth team to update and send you a corrected Letter of Medical Necessity.
How do I include additional details on my Letter of Medical Necessity for FSA approval?
We’re here to help you! While we typically don’t handle one-time requests, we'll gladly reach out to our partners at Flex to see how we can add the extra details your FSA needs. Just let us know, and we'll do our best to support you!
What if my purchase receipt number doesn't match the number on my FSA charge?
Thanks for letting us know, and we’re sorry for the mix-up. If your receipt number doesn’t match your FSA charge, please contact us at team@poponveneers.com so we can investigate the issue. In some cases, we may need to coordinate with Flex to resolve the discrepancy.
Once we review the charges, we’ll provide you with an update and details about any refund or adjustment that may be necessary. Thank you for your patience while we sort this out!
Can I apply for HSA/FSA reimbursement with my previous order confirmation?
If you made your purchase without using Flex at checkout, getting reimbursed might be harder. To qualify for HSA or FSA reimbursement, you need a Letter of Medical Necessity (LOMN), which is provided exclusively during the checkout process with Flex.
Without the LOMN, your claim is likely to be denied because we can’t provide the detailed receipt your HSA/FSA provider requires. We recommend checking with your HSA or FSA administrator to understand their specific reimbursement requirements.
