The CDE for Structured Collaboration on Construction Projects
Poolar.Project Is the Secure Cloud Solution for Clients, Project Managers, Architects, Engineers and Construction Companies
Optimise your processes with our modular solution: our collaboration software for construction and property projects creates a shared working platform for all project stakeholders – transparent, version-controlled and tailored to the processes that reliably manage day-to-day construction projects.

Project Workspaces for the Construction Industry
As a Common Data Environment (CDE), Poolar.Project brings together plans, documents and project communications in one place, whilst also supporting the processes that are crucial to day-to-day project management: checks, approvals, minutes, decisions, tasks and site tools for work on the construction site.
This creates a digital project workspace where information is not merely distributed, but brought together in a structured way. Instead of scattered files, endless email chains and isolated individual tools, Poolar.Project ensures structure, traceability and reliable collaboration throughout the entire project lifecycle.

Frequently Asked Questions
Brief Answers to Key Questions About Poolar.Project as a CDE
Poolar.Project supports construction projects primarily by providing structure, transparency and traceability. Plans and documents are stored centrally, new versions are managed efficiently, and project stakeholders work within a clearly defined framework of access rights.
This makes it much easier to manage typical problems such as outdated plans, unclear responsibilities, scattered tasks and coordination that is difficult to track.
Poolar.Project uses a structured versioning and history system. New plan versions are stored in a traceable manner, whilst previous versions remain documented.
In day-to-day work, the focus is on the latest version of the plans. This reduces the risk of those involved inadvertently working with out-of-date plans – a key consideration for planning, site management and construction.
Construction projects generate a great deal of information, decisions and coordination. Without a central platform, these quickly end up scattered across emails, file storage systems, messaging apps, meeting minutes and individual solutions.
Poolar.Project brings all this information together in a single project space. This improves clarity, reduces data silos and creates a transparent working framework for everyone involved – from the planning stage right through to the construction site.
A basic file storage system simply stores documents. Poolar.Project goes a step further: plans, documents, tasks, approvals, minutes, decisions and stakeholders are linked together in specific locations within a shared project space. As soon as a file is uploaded, the system checks whether the file naming conventions have been followed.
This not only shows where information is located, but also the context in which it is relevant: which version of the plan is currently in force, who is responsible, which review is underway, and which decision has already been documented.
Task management in Poolar.Project is not developed in isolation as a freely configurable workflow tool, but is derived directly from specific construction processes: for example, from meeting minutes, plan reviews, defects, decisions, invoice checks or coordination.
Outstanding issues are recorded at the point where they arise and displayed centrally on the dashboard. This makes it easier to manage responsibilities, deadlines and processing statuses.
Yes. The solution supports BIM-oriented workflows through features such as 3D model management, a browser-based IFC viewer and BCF issue management.
BCF issues can be managed directly within the model context. This allows queries, clashes, validation notes or coordination points to be documented and processed in a traceable manner within the model context – regardless of the software used to create the 3D models.
