I've joined a new webring founded by Mistigris, the demoscene group of which I'm a member. I've included the icon at the foot of my site now. You can click it and go to all the other adjacent pages for creative retrocomputing.
In other news, I've also updated my email newsletter archive, which contains the email for the 10th of August.

It's been a productive day. On top of adding a dark mode to my site, I've digitally painted a new image for the front page and made the distraction-free RSS option much cleaner (it hides the wriggle creatures entirely).
The contact form is much tighter too, so if you've got a spare minute, fling me an email and tell me about your day.

Thanks to a request from Adam Phoebe, who was "flashbanged" by my site while browsing late at night, I've added a dark mode to the website. It relies on a CSS media query which detects your browser default preference, so I didn't need to add any JS or cookies.
Thankfully, my site styles were built with CSS variables, so adding this new recolour was actually pretty straightforward!

I've uploaded new images to the gallery and updated the gallery preview script.
One of the images is from my free online talk about 1bit pixel art, coming up on the 24th of April. It'd be great if you could come along!

I've hosted a new page for the Nokia Art Jam, a yearly collaboration with many 1bit artists to create art for the Nokia 3410. The jam returns this year, running through April, and submissions are accepted from anyone via itch.io.
You can visit the Nokia Art Jam page on my website to download all previous entries, as well as the full size magazine pages which summarise the previous year.
In minor updates, the Games page has been fixed so as to not make an API call to itch (avoiding tracking JS), and the RSS feed now has a distraction-free mode.

There are new images in the Gallery from some of the recent projects I've completed. I've shifted out some of the older work into the archive.
The About page now has fresh illustrations and links to some of the projects I've done. The biggest feature is the new header image made in isometric pixel art.
The homepage is now dedicated to the RSS feed with some new wiggly mascots.

Some of you may know that I run GBJam every year on the second Friday of September. It's a ten day jam, and this year we had over two thousand people join with 397 entries.
I also made an entry which was well received by the competition, with LKCampbell on music. It's a concept I've wanted to make for a while about a magic 8-ball styled fortune teller that can answer yes and no questions.
I've also figured out how to use basic HTML in an RSS feed! Let me know if that works out on your reader of choice.

Extensive work has been done on the site over the past few months - the About page and the Games page have been added, giving access to a wide amount of my work. I've also included three rarely seen games from my archive.
