One Election Away from Total Control
Political campaigns on both sides always exaggerate and pitch imaginary scenarios if the other side wins. Certainly, the Left’s insane obsession with Project 2025 is an example, but in the case of mass censorship, we don’t have to imagine. We’ve seen it first hand over the past four years. Millions of accounts and billions of posts & private messages have been censored. Entire conservative social media platforms like Parler have been taken down. Even the former president, himself, was subjected to mass censorship, and it’s still occurring, as his rally videos are often removed from Facebook & Instagram, while MSNBC & CNN ofthe refuse to allow the public to hear Trump’s actual words in speeches.
But their monopoly on Big Tech and mainstream media has been broken by Musk buying Twitter and media startups like One America News, so as Hillary Clinton, Kamala Harris, John Kerry, and Tim Walz have all stated explicitly in their own words, they must bring total censorship back. If they get a monopoly of power in Congress and the Presidency, you can be sure they’ll find ways to implement new censorship controls, including the deplatforming of Twitter/X, and they will pack the Supreme Court or find some other method to ensure the Constitution can no longer be used as a check on power.
We’ve already seen how they’re funneling illegal immigrants to swing states, waiting for the chance to grant mass amnesty, a not-so-hidden attempt to achieve a one-party State for the rest of our lives, exactly like what now exists in California. Combined with the censorship, curbs on the 2nd Amendement, and threats to the Supreme Court, is it really an exaggeration to say we’re potentially only one election from totalitarian control?
