Aasif Ahsan Khan - Founder of PodTech

Aasif Ahsan Khan is the founder of PodTech, an initiative of the Fabtech Group of Companies. Fabtech has spent over two decades as a start-to-finish solutions provider for biopharma companies globally, delivering both pharmaceutical manufacturing projects and essential equipment for air, water, and process applications.

PodTech was created to solve a crisis-manufacturing problem: governments and pharma companies needed a way to rapidly build or scale biopharmaceutical production capacity without the delays of conventional construction, especially in response to public health emergencies. The thinking was shaped directly by COVID-19, exposing how unprepared and inequitable global health manufacturing capacity was.

Our product, The Podule, provided the modular, off-site-built, plug-and-play steel architecture in the demanding, highly regulated world of biopharma manufacturing; the same engineering philosophy was a natural fit for a second infrastructure problem: data centers. The core product DNA is speed of deployment, modular steel frame construction, flexibility and re-purposability is carried over directly into what modular data centers would benefit from: G+1 stacking, flexibility and scalability, 120-minute fire-rated walls, and integrated precision air cooling and custom cooling solutions.
