Dr. Hongpyo & Julie Lee reminisced about the evenings when they would collect his children at the library after working at Harbor Kaiser Hospital. He and Julie knew that their teenagers were safe at the library. Both Hongpyo and Julie told us that they are “happy to give back to their library, we know how important it is to everyone in our community”.
Growing up in PV, the library was like a second home for me. I have fond memories of discovering some of my favorite authors here. We hope that our gift can similarly help others begin a lifelong love of books,” says Jenny. Nehal and Jenny believe that PVLD provides an excellent environment for every age and that the library serves to bring our community together.
