Included Services
Core Maintenance Tasks
- Quarterly updates to WordPress core, themes, and plugins
- Urgent updates applied as needed in response to known security vulnerabilities
- Periodic site review (at least once per quarter) to ensure basic site health
- Minor updates and major upgrades to WordPress core and existing plugin/module software
- Hosting and MySQL environment adjustments as needed (for supported environments)
- Automated backups configured to an external system controlled by the client (e.g., Dropbox)
Security Monitoring
- Ongoing monitoring of site security using PXM tools
- Corrective action taken if malware or other threats are detected
- Plugin scans and uptime monitors are reviewed during scheduled maintenance unless a high-priority threat is flagged
Plugin Licenses
- Access to shared PXM agency licenses for supported premium plugins, including:
Beaver Builder or Elementor, UABB Addons, Smart Slider, Gravity Forms, and more - Client-specific plugin needs or renewals are not included unless outlined in the project contract
Notification Configuration
- WordPress and hosting systems are configured to alert PXM of technical issues wherever possible
Quarterly Content & Technical Assistance
- Includes 1.5 hours per quarter, totaling up to 6 hours per year
- Time may roll over within the same 12-month plan year but resets at renewal
- This time is intended for light edits or troubleshooting, not design or development
Admin Security Requirements
To maintain coverage under this plan, you must meet minimum WordPress admin security standards:
- Admin accounts must not use default or insecure usernames (e.g.,
admin,user) - Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) must be enabled for all admin-level users
Failure to meet these requirements may limit or void malware remediation support under this plan.
Exclusions
- Creation of new page layouts, landing pages, or full redesigns
- WCAG 2.1 accessibility remediation on existing content, must be a separate project scope
- On-demand or emergency response outside of scheduled update cycles
- Server administration for AWS, Azure, or custom cloud environments
(Only supports Linux/WHM or Managed WordPress hosting platforms)
Out-of-scope requests may be billed separately at our standard hourly rate of $110/hour, or quoted as a standalone project depending on scope.
