LED MARQUEE ARTWORK
The Pixelcade™ software includes thousands of marquee designs painstakingly remastered in 8-bit form covering the majority of popular emulators and MAME games. If the selected game does not have a corresponding LED marquee design, then a generic emulator marquee (ie, atari2600, mame, nes, etc.) will be displayed or scrolling text. To create your own LED marquee designs, author a 64×32 (1 Panel Installation) or 128×32 (2 Panel Installation) PNG or GIF animation in your favorite image editor like Photoshop. High contrast colors and preferably a black background look best on the LEDs. And if you can, please do share your creations with the community on the Pixelcade™ Art exchange. The Pixelcade software includes an artwork updater that pulls from the Pixelcade artwork repo which does get updated on a regular basis including contributions from the community. An add on LED art pack is also available adding a number of animated marquees.

Take things farther with our REST based Pixelcade™ API and create additional use cases. Use the Queue feature for example to combine and cascade multiple GIF animation, still images, and scrolling text events.
