Hellooo... so I've pretty much lost all contact with most of everyone who is still here... it's kind of sad. :/ I miss it here sometimes.
I just graduated from university earlier this month and I'm in post-collegiate limbo right now.
I made myself a portfolio website, have a look and hire me! The site is simple and dopey (like me) but eh... Also a process blog of sorts... Blogger's interface sucks by the way.
Hey, I'm in France for the semester and I don't have good internet. I usually use it at the library. My university is on strike and the students have voted to block for the whole week, so no class until November because next week is vacance de Toussaint, All Saints Day vacation.
I hope my flight Friday won't be canceled. I would be super sad. Traveling is expensive!

HEY! I hope everyone is having a great Christmas Eve and will have a fantabulous Christmas day! May you all get exactly what you wished for. This picture came from the fact that for the past 3 or 4 hours I've been watching White Christmas and (original) Star Wars at the same time, hehehe.
I finally saw Star Trek tonight: LOVED IT. My dad used to be/is a big Trek fan so I've grown up loving this stuff but even with all the changes and the alternate reality deal, it was great! I'm still kind of gushing about it. It also didn't hurt that they casted those ass-kicking, GQ-looking mother fuckers. The writing, acting, visuals, were great! The only thing I would complain about is the score being a little TOO epic, I mean, yeah the movie was epic, but the music was EPIC. And the lack of women in cool scenes. So Uhara gets undressed, and later she comforts Spock, awesome. Come on, guys, it's 2009. But over all, for a person who doesn't really like movies, I loved this movie.
Oh, and I'm classics on Dreamwidth, please tell me who you are over there. I haven't started using it but I'm trying!
I was thinking about trying to come back when school was over and it is and I am? But it hardly seems worth it now that everyone has pretty much migrated to Dreamwidth or whatever. Well, we'll see.

In other news: the weather's been ridiculously warm! Temps in the 60s F since Saturday! And Wednesday will be 69F!! Wow!
In some more news: I cleaned my room after 2 weeks (not bad) and my desk, finally, after... 4 months! I am feeling great about this! I hope I'll be able to get some work done now that this clutter is gone.

I'm trying to get out of this funk but it's hard! January was really unfortunate... I just haven't felt much like myself, and a bit lonely and tired from time to time. :/ Maybe, I need more sunshine but all I'm getting is 13F degree weather and snow everyday. It sounds fun, but not when you're waiting for the bus to get to a class you're already late to.
So I'm going to get back into the groove of things! For starters coming back to LJ. :3

I'm back from China! The trip was good but my camera got stolen the 2nd to the last day of the trip and I cried a lot about it to myself because most of the pictures I took were stored in it still.
My cousin got married and the guy is a good person, I'm really glad. We went to Nanjing and Shanghai then Guangzhou and Shenzhen to visit family and mom's friends but spent most of the time in Zhaoqing where we live. My other cousin came back from university in Beijing to see us.
So it's 2009 already huh? In lieu of doing a 2008 survey, this is a list of movies I saw for the first time in 2008.
