In a nutshell: Please credit either piekid or piekids_stuff. My preferred way to do so is by putting it in the icon comment area (not the keywords). Simply type <lj user="piekid"> for piekid or <lj comm="piekids_stuff> for piekids_stuff. Or if you really want to be my hero you can do something like "piekid @ piekids_stuff" because that just rocks. :)

Note: I'm not a huge stickler with credit, I like it because then people can figure out where to find more icons/colorbars/etc like what is shown, and it is advertising. Just so long as someone else isn't claiming my work as their own, I won't bitch. Credit is just nice, so please be nice and credit me. :)

Exceptions: In the case of the comics that I use artwork from, you MUST credit the artist. I'll tell you who it is, their website, and if they have one, their LJ.

I've never been able to figure out what good a resources post was that listed nothing more than a bunch of LJ usernames and an occasional website. Sure the link and credit is there, but if someone is looking to have the brush/texture/cap that you used, they'd spend all day searching those links and probably come up with nothing. So for all LJ acquired resources I link to the post I got the item from, to make it a bit easier for someone to use the same item I do. I also save them in the memories in case I miss something here.
