The next window will allow you to connect to IRC, but you need to provide: server/network, username, nickname, port, etc. If your Internet connection allows you to connect to IRC, the application will display its progress in the #STATUS window. From that window, you can issue command just like if you were in a dedicated IRC client on your desktop PC.
