He served as faculty member of Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (1971-1976), research engineer in GE Global Research Center (1976-1987), and Endowed Chair Professor of the University of Tennessee. He is a recipient of 7 IEEE awards, Honorary D.Sc. from Indian Institute of Engineering Science and Technology, India.

Dr. Eugene Mananga is a Faculty Member in the Physics Doctorate Program and in the Ph. D Program in Chemistry at the Graduate Center of the City University of New York. He is an Assistant Professor of Physics and Nuclear Medicine at BCC of CUNY, and an Adjunct Professor of Applied Physics at New York University. He completed his Ph.D in Physics from the Graduate Center of the City University of New York, and holds 6 additional graduate degrees and training from various institutions including Harvard University (HMS), Massachusetts General Hospital (MGH), and City College of New York (CCNY). Eugene did his postdoctoral studies in the National High Magnetic Field Laboratory of USA, Harvard Medical School, and Massachusetts General Hospital. Prior to joining Harvard - MGH, Dr. Mananga was an “Ingenieur de Recherche” in the French Atomic Energy Commission and Alternative Energies (CEA-SACLAY-NEUROSPIN). Eugene has published more than 50 peer-review scientific articles including major scientific journals such as Physics Reports, Royal Society of Chemistry (RSC), the Journal of Chemical Physics (JCP), the Journal of Physical Chemistry A and B (JPC A,B), Chemical Physics (CP), Journal of Magnetic Resonance (JMR), etc... and has been serving as editorial board member for more than 20 international scientific journals. He currently serves as Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of Imaging Science and he was recently selected to serve the most prestigious position of "Chief Editor" for the editorial board of "The Scientific Journal of Molecular Physics". Dr. Eugene Mananga scientific contribution in the field of Nuclear Magnetic Resonance was honored during the 70th anniversary (1946 - 2016) of the Russian Academic of Sciences. Professor Mananga is the Laureate of 2017 Henry Wasser Award for outstanding achievement at the City University of New York.

Matteo Tonezzer received his PhD degree “cum laude” from the Faculty of Physics at the University of Trento, Italy. His thesis was regarding the optimization of inorganic and organic nanostructured materials toward gas sensing. In 2011, he won the Young Scientist Award from the European Materials Research Society (EMRS). He worked in research centers in France (ESRF), Brazil (UFMG), Vietnam (HUST), Italy (INFM, CNR) and USA (GeorgiaTech). He participated in 14 national and international research projects, and was principal investigator for 4 of them. He is currently working for IMEM at the Italian National Research Council. He is author of dozens of scientifi papers on international journals and contributed, also with invited talks, to tens of international conferences. His h-index is 9. He is reviewer for 38 international peer-review journals (editor for 5 of them), and organizer and chairman of 6 international conferences. His main area of interest concerns the sensing properties of nanostructured organic and inorganic materials, both for applicative uses and for fundamental investigation.

Eliade Stefanescu graduated the Faculty of Electronics, Section of Physicist Engineers, in 1970, and obtained a PhD in Theoretical Physics in 1990. As a Scientist from 1976, a Senior Scientist III from 1978, he worked in technology of semiconductor devices. From 1978, he worked in physics of optoelectronic devices. From 1987, and from 1990 as a Senior Scientist II, he worked in the field of open quantum physics. In 1991 he discovered that the penetrability of a potential barrier can be increased by coupling to a dissipative system, and described the decay spectrum of some cold fission modes. As a Senior Scientist I, from 1997 he developed a microscopic theory of open quantum systems, and discovered a physical principle for the heat conversion into usable energy. In 2014, he produced a unitary relativistic quantum theory. In the years 1995-2000, he held a course called Dissipative Systems for the master degree.

Devki N. Talwar graduated from Allahabad University in India in 1976 with a PhD degree in Condensed Matter Physics. From 1977-80 he worked as a Visiting Scientist at the Commissariat a’l Energie Atomic, Saclay, Gif-sur-Yvette, France with Professor M. Vandevyver. While at Saclay he collaborated with theoretical /experimental group of Professor M. Balkanski, including Karel Kunc, M. Zigone, and G. Martinez and supervised 3 PhD theses. In January 1980 he joined the Physics Department, University of Houston as a Visiting Professor and collaborated with Professor C. S. Ting on problems related to the electronic properties of defects in Semiconductors and supervised a PhD student. From 1982-87 he was a faculty at Texas A & M University. He joined the Physics Department at Indiana University of Pennsylvania in 1987, supervised 20 MS theses. Since 2007-2014, Dr. Talwar served as the Chairperson of the Physics Department.

Vladimir V. Rumyantsev is Head of Department of Theory of Complex Systems Dynamic Properties at A.A. Galkin Donetsk Institute for Physics and Engineering (DonIPE). He is Professor of Theoretical Physics and Nanotechnology Department at Donetsk National University (DonNU). He received PhD in Theoretical Physics (1988) from DonNU and Dr. Sci. in Condensed Matter Physics (2007) from DonIPE. Prof. Rumyantsev has authored/co-authored 4 books, 2 chapters in books and more than 230 scientific publications. He is a member of the American Physical Society as well as Mediterranean Institute of Fundamental Physics (MIFP, Italy) and Editor-in-Chiff of Journal of Photonic Materials and Technology (Science PG, USA).

Current research interests include various aspects of solid state physics, crystallooptics, photonics; more particularly - theoretical study of the effects of disorder in quasi-two-dimensional nanofilms and layered structures caused by the propagation of electromagnetic and acoustic excitations, light-matter coupling in composite nanostructures.

Presently, he is Chief Scientist and Professor at the Kazan Federal University.
