Sorry for the long absence. Although I don't post on my lj as much, I am around in the background. It has been a while since I last posted here. Life has been busy and I am just trying to keep my head a float. Although it has been crazy, I do enjoy my work, even though it will be the end of me! Lol.

My trip to Japan in March/April was amazing. I am still yet to sort through all my photos. I can finally tick seeing the cherry blossoms in bloom off my bucket list. I am trying to figure out if I will go again next year or the year after to see more around the Tokyo area. I definitely want to see Singapore and Hong Kong.

Trixie, I am still yet to send off your letter ):. I will get to it soon! xxx.

Wow, I haven't updated my journal since forever! RL has consumed me. Since my promotion last year things just became more busier and busier. I swear the workload just increases when you are in middle management and your personal life becomes non-existent. I'm on a short break right now, but I still have to go in next week for a work meeting with a potential partnership.

My trip to Seoul at the end of last year was interesting. 3 weeks in Seoul was a bit too long. I think the main issue was that it was freaking COLD! We arrived in minus 9 temperatures and all I had on was my cotton pants! I am already planning my next trip away back to Japan. We have set the trip for April during the cherry blossom season. Although may end up going in July next year if that doesn't work out.

My current holiday however is going to be leveling the backyard with tons and tons of dirt that needs to be shoveled from the front to the back. My back is already killing me with only 4 hours of hard labour! lol.

Wishing everyone a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year. I am currently in Seoul celebrating the holidays, but must admit I miss the hot summery Christmas.

Wow, when was the last time I updated here?! It's been a busy last six months. I just came back from New Zealand for work. I only saw the North Island. Auckland reminds me of Brisbane and Sydney mixed into one. But once outside Auckland it is so pretty! So green!!!

Work has been pretty much consuming all my free time. I do enjoy my new position, although the work that comes along with it is exhuasting! I still have no idea what I am doing most of the time!

Thank you for all the birthday wishies <3. This past couple of months has been hectic with my new position and learning new things and taking on new responsibilities.

It's been a stressful last few days with my grandmother passing the night before my birthday. So my birthday was pushed to the side while we were sorting out visas and flights for my parents. My parents flew out on Friday night. My sisters are flying out tomorrow to join them. I want to be there too, although my new position won't allow me to do so and someone needs to stay home to take care of the pets and household. My brother is staying with me as he has uni. Hectic times indeed.

Officially back at work as of today. Although I was already back unofficially on Monday and Tuesday just to get things ready for today! Moved a lot of old furniture and my arms are sore from all the moving.

Today was incredibily HOT!!! Everything was just melting from the heat. Although now there are thunder and lightening! As long as it cools down the air, I am fine with that.

Work will be very busy the next 6 months coming since I've stepped up into an acting higher position. I just need to keep the ship afloat! But trying to wrap my head around things I have NO IDEA about is another thing! Fingers crossed I don't get fired in the process, lol.

Anyway, wishing everyone a wonderful New Years!!! The year of the Horse, let it be a good one ^__^.

Seriously, if you haven't seen Kyoukai no Kanata you need too. I thought I wouldn't like it at first, but found myself enjoying the series. But you really need to watch the Kyoukai no Kanata Idol Saiban. Especially episode 3. OMG.... I nearly died of laughter! You can download it from Mezashite! Fansubs. Definitely check it out. The Kyoukai no Kanata Idol Saiban are only short.

Christmas is almost upon us and I still need to do a few more shopping and figuring out the menu list for the day. I will be doing a mad last minute food shop on Christmas Eve.

On another note. I know this may sound strange. But can anyone recommend a good plastic surgen who does Asian noses? I want to get my nose done. I thought about going to South Korea thinking costs may be cheaper. But it seems it would work out the same if I had it done in Australia. I'm opened to getting it done overseas, but it depends on how good the surgen is and the cost. I don't want a nose that looks fake. I just want more of a bridge. I'm doing my research, but doesn't help when I want to faint seeing the procedure done. Seriously, knock me out and just do it.

Finally on break! But still working behind the scenes. The work never ends! Already planning for next year!

Why is it that we tend to over eat this time of year? Finally on holidays and spent the first day cleaning. It's amazing how much you accumulate over the year! Although sometimes I wonder if it's stuff I will need later down the track or not.

My dad decided to get a new dog. Well, he adopted a dog from someone else. The problem is that it is a male dog and it doesn't get along with my dog. But my mum has become attached to it as this poor dog has been passed around four families now. Makes me wonder what is wrong with this dog. It seems very friendly though, but I wish my dog and this one will get along. We ended up changing his name so my parents can pronounce it! His original name was Herculus. We ended up calling him Henry.

Will be a busy week ahead with catching up with friends and more xmas lunches! Enjoy the rest of your weekend!

It's only the second day back at work, but bloody hell! As of morning tea I couldn't even see what colour my desk was anymore! Talk about work piling up quickly!

Not much to say but... OMG... it's October already?! Finally watched Hakkenden: Eight Dogs of the East anime and I just adore it! Even though it's a low budget series, it is amazing. The illustration are beautiful and story just amazing. Love it! A shame the anime has come to an end though T__T. Tried to watch Psycho Pass but it's too bloody for me >__>;;;. Karneval was a lovely surprised. I really enjoyed it even thought it was only 13 episodes long. Just caught up with Kuroko no Basuke so all up to date with my anime. Thank goodness for breaks.

It is truly a depressing day. Who would ever predict our new Prime Minister would be him. A homophobic, sexist and arrogant man. Also someone who believes climate change is an illusion. He also believes even though a boss is bad, isn't it good that they give people jobs. He also believes the pay gap between men and women is because men are just better equip at work. Seriously, who the hell had voted for this idiot?!

Goodness help us all. Yes, the previous government's internal bickering had shot themselves in the foot. But with this landslide win with the new elected party. It means there is basically no opposition. With the balance of power clearly on the opposition side, they can pretty much do what they want. I don't drink, but after today, I might pick it up!

Where did August go?! It's September already?! More importantly it's spring! Hoarh!

It has been a very busy August with so much going on at work. I ended up being a judge at a competition. It was a good experience but the day was long day!!!! I was there for 11 hours.

Work has been very busy but I am looking forwards to the break in three weeks time.

My sister and I took my dad out for lunch for father's day. I had ordered the BBQ pork wonton soup but ended up lemon grass pork with rice. I wouldn't have been so miffed about it if they weren't trying to put the blame back on me. I clearly said 36 but she wrote down 63. When she repeated the order she even said 36! The waitress kept saying she repeated the order and said 63. No you didn't. Then the boss came over and was pretty aggressive and was yelling at the waitress. In the end I just kept the dish as it was getting out of hand. The dish wasn't great and service left me in a foul mood.

Anyway, spring is here and love the warmer weather! Have a great week ahead!

I'm still trying to lose the 3 kilos I put on since coming back from Japan. I've been walking running for half an hour on the weekend. When I build up my stamina I hope to go for an hour. But seriously, I'm so unfit it's not funny!

My work has consumed me ever since coming back from holidays. It feels like I've never left! I have so many projects piling up I can't even remember the colour of my desk anymore! I keep threatening one of my bosses I'll take stress leave any moment now and leave her with all the work! Although she says she'll chain me up first before I do! Lol.

What I'm watching when I get time - Free! I wasn't sure what I thought of this series after epsiode 1. But after episode 3... OMG that was hilarous. I'll be definitely following this. I'm also watching Shingeki no Kyojin. Not exactly the type of anime I normally watch as I'm not into the blood and violence. But it's interesting and reminds me kind of ... Full Alchemist... kind of but not...

I just watched VS Arashi on SBS 2 TV. That was very cool. They're showing it on Saturday nights and repeat it on Sunday afternoons.

All in all, it's been busy. I still have some letters/postcards on my desk that I wrote ages ago that still haven't been sent! Whoops. Have a good week ahead!

Finally back from Japan. Although got back Sunday after the delayed flight and was straight back at work Monday morning at 5 am. The trip itself was amazing. I loved Japan and already planning my next holiday there again! We flew into Osaka where we stayed for a couple of days before heading off to Kyoto for a week and then Tokyo. I have to admit I liked Kyoto more than Tokyo. I found there was a lot more to do and see in Kyoto. I just found myself shopping in Tokyo than anything else. Not that I am complaining about that! I didn't end up seeing Mt Fuji, that will be on my to do list next time around.

I ended up taking over 6000 photos which was around 16 gigs. I also ended up buying just over 10 kilos of clothes alone! Ended up having to buy another luggage for all the extra stuff I ended up buying. Unfortuantely I couldn't spend a lot of time in animate and mandrake to buy doujinshis and manga as I had my young neice with me. There were too many x-rated things that she shouldn't see!

Still very exhausted from the trip and early mornings back at work. Can't wait for Saturday so I can just sleep!

On another note, a belated happy b'day trixie! Your present is in the mail! <3

Work has been busy needless to say. I have so much to do I don't even know where to start. To make things even more stressful, I'm flying out next Saturday and no where ready or packed! I have no idea what to pack really, but I guess worse case senario I can always buy what I need there. I'm trying to not over pack, but you never know. A shame to dollar is falling against the yen but nothing can be done about it. I've been told to not be shrined-out! lol. I just hope I can manage lugging my luggage around. Wow, it's April already!! It's been a busy Easter break. I had my hair cut and coloured yesterday and I just hate it! I almost want to buy a wig. I've been growing my hair for the past 5 years now. When I told the hairdresser to give it a trim he bloody over layered it and cut to below shoulder length. My hair use to be half way down my back and now it's so much shorter T__T. The worse part is that he cut the fringe too short so it sticks up and it's over layered it almost looks like an 80's mullet. Then he coloured my hair which I thought was golden brown/blonde, but I can say it does not look it that. I'm tempted to put a dark brown hair dye I have in the cupboard over it. I'm trying to make the best of the situation. Colour can be easily fixed but the length.... I know my ends where dry and splitting so I needed to get those cut off. But I have no idea how to style my hair now. I know I can grow my hair but for some reason my hair takes forever to grow.

On a happier note I finally brought my first car. It's second hand though but was owned by a young woman driver who did very low milage. It's a blue Honda Jazz Gli. The woman I brought it off threw in a reversing camera too which is great. Although I have to admit when it comes to parking, I am terrible! I just can't bay park or parallel park! Is there a technical way to do it or is it all through feel? I really need to learn how to park. But I admit I find driving and parking very stressful.

It's been a crazy week and I feel like I've fallen behind on things again. At times I admitted I just wanted to quit. I think it's more admin than the kids that drives me crazy! Heaps to do this weekend. But I shall get there... one way or another.

Wow, this month has flown by although in many ways not fast enough! Thank you for the b'day messages! I am still catching up on my pms and emails ^^;;; So please nudge me again if I haven't replied! I am pretty bad with that >__>;;

It's been hectic month to say the least. Two weeks into the term I had this sharp chest pain followed by a terrible dizzy spell and was sent home from work. My doctor said it was due to me overworking myself. He told me I should rest more. Rest.... what is that strange word? But seriously, there is no time to rest! This year the work is piling on, much thanks to the extra responsibilities I've been given, with no extra pay. What makes it worse is that the person I took over from did not give me all her files. She was very unorganised and said she would post me a USB stick with all the files. The USB never came. So I had to start from scratch! Also, the manager I am working with is so flaky! He is no clear on what he wants and it drives me insane. I really just want to quit this coordinating job. I hate it so much. But my sister asked me if I could do the job. Well, kind of. She also asked me if there was anyone else at work who could take over from me. Well... no. Not at this point. So she convinced me to stick with it for the year and then pass it over for next year. I can also add it to my resume too I guess. But still. It's crap doing a new role when the previous person hasn't left anything behind!

Chinese/Lunar New Year was good. Ate heaps of food as normal. trixie, thank you for the Chinese New Year e-card! <3. My mum pulled my fortune for me. She got me a bad one =o=;;; Although my dad re-did my fortune and got me a good one. Although I do wonder if you can do that!

Work has pretty much consumed my life at the moment. I am trying to find more of a work life balance. It's tricky. At least I don't have kids! Although my poor dog Yuki has been acting up since I haven't been at home with him more lately.

Anyway, nothing more to say other than the joys of work. At least there is only 5 weeks before the next break! Lol. I have been listening to a lot more Super Junior music though. Have a good week ahead! ^^

Wow, a week has gone by already? Sorry for the belated replies and comments. I am trying to catch up to them as we speak. Being my last week before I start work again, I spent it pretty much cleaning and moving stuff. Long story which I won't get into but the once grey walls are white again! I was amazed how much scum I was able to get off glass too! It was so frosty before but now crystal clear. Vinegar, jiff and bleach are my best friends :D. Lol. The worst part is that my eczema flared up and skin went all itchy and gross.

On a more brighter note. I finally did it! And there is no going back either as I have booked and paid for it (or so I hope the transaction went through! My bank account is looking very empty). I am going to Japan in June! Well, at the end of June over my winter vacation. Although it will be summer there. My sister and my 13 year old niece are going for about 2 weeks. We flight to Osaka and may spend a couple of days there before heading off to Kyoto for a week and than travelling to Tokyo for the remainder of our holiday. It should be very exciting. But my biggest fear is how to get around Japan with a suitcase and catching trains etc. I'm not a good traveller and much prefer to go on tours where everything is organised for you. Surprisingly there aren't a lot of tour organisation in Japan. And the ones they have are quite expensive, especially when airfares are not included. We haven't worked out accommodation or travel within Japan yet. Still working out the itinerary. As long as I see my temples and zen gardens, I'll be happy. My sister just wants to go to the 100 yen stores and buy stuff from vending machines. My niece is just excited to go. My sister and I are paying for her. Although we told her she won't be getting any b'day or Christmas presents for a while! Lol. My older sister was suppose to come too (my niece's mum) but was unable to due to her younger kids.

Tomorrow I am getting my hair professionally dyed and fixed so it doesn't look so blotchy. I went to it assessed by a few hairdressers. Some said it was impossible to get rid of the black dye and I had to grow it out. Others says it is possible through bleach. I guess I'll just have to use heaps of leave in conditioner for a while. But I do find it amazing how one look at my hair and they can see everything I've tried to throw at it. Even when I last cut and dyed my hair.

I brought Office 2013 Professional for only $30. Actually, you could buy it for $15 but for an additional $15 you get the backup disc which I got just in case. I'm still yet to play with it. I just hope it is compatible with the one on my work laptop.

Anyway, work starts this week and I have done nothing! I still have to organise the agenda I have to co-run. Although I am not looking forwards holding it with that woman who is never happy with anything I do. Gah! Cross your fingers I make it through alive! Have a great week!

First post of the year! I have two weeks of break left before I am back at work. For the first time I am actually dreading going back to work. Mainly because of all the crap that happened at the end of last year that is still yet to be resolved. Also I am not looking forwards to working with that horrible colleague of mine who makes my life a living hell. This woman is so bitter and thrives on drama its insane. Admittedly I have been looking for other positions out there. It doesn't hurt to look.

I tried to dye my hair a couple of days ago. Even though I used a colour remover, it's almost impossible to get rid of the previous black dye I put through my hair. I might have to go to the salon and pay the $150 just to get it coloured. So expensive! I'm not willing to have the black part cut off either as I would have pixie hair!

I hope everyone had a lovely Christmas. The past few days were quite busy. I even managed to do a clean of my work folders. I have over 50 large A4 folders and growing. I definitely need more storage space!


I've finally caught up with watching K Project. OMG, epsiode 13.... gah! All I can say is thank goodness there will be a season 2. I haven't been into anime lately, but I must say I have throughly enjoyed watching K Project. I won't go into the story in case I spoil it! But I definitely recommend it. At first I was a bit.. meh about it, but the story does move at a fast pace and being only a 13 episode season, a lot does happen. I love how the story unfolds along the way with subtle hints. The animation and overall production quality is beautiful. The downside is there is not enough character development, but hopefully in season 2 we will learn more about the character's background.

Anyway, I hope every one has a lovely new year ahead! ^^

So today is suppose to be the end of the world.... according to what some people believe due to the Mayan calendars. Not that I really believe today will be the end of the world... or that aliens would beam down from the skies. You would think there would be more of a lead up to those events. It does make one reflect back on the year. And what a year it has been! I have learnt a lot about myself. I do have a high expectation of what I do, but have learnt my limitations. I have definitely seen what bitterness can do to a person and discovered that some people are just bitter by nature. I have decided to enjoy more of life. My younger sister and I are finally planning our trip to Japan next year! We plan to go at the end of June for about 2 weeks. Although we are planning to go with my older sister and our niece which makes the whole planning issue a bit more tricky.

Still much to do, but once I stop procrastinating I shall get to them, lol. I think once I am on break my mind switches off and I crawl under a rock for a long period to recover. It does annoy me there is an expectation when you go on break you need to be doing something. When I say I plan to stay home and relax they say what a waste of time it would be and I should be out there doing something adventurous etc. Seriously, the way I spend my down time is none of their business!

Anyway, I plan to spend today catching up with work colleagues for coffee/breakfast. Although looking outside the window it's rather dark and gloomy. There is a chance of rain and storms later. Maybe the Mayans were right and it is the end of the world as we know it!

I finally made it! It's finally summer break! Normally today is very quiet and not much is done. But I was run off my feet doing meeting, sorting things out. Dealing with difficult people. But it's over now. There was a lot of crap going on today. But I made it through without breaking down and crying. Right now I am surrounded by mountains of books, paper, crush Christmas cookies (which unfortunately found its way under my books) and crap.

I don't actually drink. But after the last four weeks. I am willing to take it up. If things don't get better, I may become an alcoholic! Lol.

I still do plan to work for the next two weeks though just to sort through my things before I will have some time to recharge and relax. Have an awesome weekend <3.

It's December already? And there I thought time moves by so slowly. Work has been crazy busy to the point I thought there was no end in sight. But with the Christmas break only a week away, I'm hanging in there... even if it's by a thin string. I have so much to do still, but at this stage I just need some time out. I have learned the higher the climb the ladder, the more people hate you. It's interesting really. I guess it's an Aussie thing about the Tall Poppy syndrome. Being in a leadership position you have to make decisions where people will not like and get upset over. I had unknowingly upset a couple of people and then had to somehow fix it. Although it was no fault of my own as the decision was made by someone else but I got the blame as I was in the acting position. It does make me think if I want to climb the ladder and expand my career. Is the stress really worth the power. I think my flaw is that I'm not assertive enough and I don't like upsetting people. Gah. There was a lot of other crap that has gone on, but won't mention it as it's not worth reading. But at least I haven't had to sneak away during work to have a good cry ^^;;;.

I watched the Taiwanese drama Skip Beat. I am actually quite impressed by its production and actors. I really like the opening song sung by Super Junior. I can't wait to see the second season which is set to be filmed in 2014. The drama closely follows the manga. I definitely recommend it.

I'm looking into buying a new printer. I am trying to toss up between a colour laser or inkjet. I really want one that does duplex printing though and doesn't cost an arm and a leg in the long run. Any recommendations is much appreciated.

Was just in a car accident. The guy ran up the back of my car. Still shaky, but OK. Although now carless as I am going to get the car assessed to see what needs to be fixed and how much it will cost. My first ever car accident. This is why I hate driving! At least the other guy wasn't too much of a dick about it. He was a bit aggressive at first sort of saying I should have gone. But how can I turn when there is an oncoming car. But we exchanged details and I've called up my insurer. The other guys was definitely to blame. I hope he doesn't retract that! Gah.

It's been a busy first week back at work. But won't get into that now. My copy of Only the Ring Finger Knows volume 5 arrived this week.

My last shoujo review. Another rec from renleek. I actually enjoyed Love so Life this one much more than the one in the previous post below.

Summary - Shiharu is a 16 year old orphan who lives at the orphanage. She becomes a babysitter to two sometimes troublesome twins who lives with their handsome uncle who is the local anchorman.

The story flows quite well and overall it is very sweet. You can definitely see feelings develop between Shiharu and Matsuanga. Although Matsuanga is very mindful of their age difference (he is 25 himself). There is also Shiharu's overprotective childhood friend, Nao-kun (who is kind of rough and appears mean to her) who has a major crush on Shiharu. Although she is very unaware of it.

Gah!!!! That's it! I'm going to give up reading Shoujo.... for a while at least. renleek recommended Bokura ga Ita and I thought I would give it ago. There are 16 volumes in total and it took me a little under 5 hours to read the series. Well... ok, I skimmed through some chapters and volumes and took a break in between due to eye strain. I mainly skimmed because the story line and characters became too frustrating to handle! I almost wanted to give up reading it but wanted to know how it ended damn it!

I don't even know where to start. The story started off quite slowly, a little bit too slowly for me, but it was sweet. I did like that they didn't rush into the relationship and it had its ups and down. But then the angst... and boy there was a lot of angst. I love my angst but there was too much of it here. The characters just infuriated me after the first few volumes. It's not that I'm not a romantic person. I like the idea of it, but if it compels people to do stupid things for love... no thanks. Luckily the last volume gave me some closure otherwise I'll be burning all my shoujo manga! Lol. Although I have read some shoujo where there was no closure at all which left me wishing I had not wasted my time reading the story in the first place.

There is an anime series of this story but I won't be watching it. It would be too painful. I think I'll finish off watching Skip Beat instead but there are so many other series I need to catch up on. I did manage to skim through New Prince of Tennis, but the lack of Fuji just makes it sad. I hope he is featured in an upcoming game at least. Give me back my Fuji! For some reason I don't get into the mood of watching anime until I'm about to start work again! Gah~ break is almost over and I've done no work! Must stop procrastinating!

Next I'm going to catch up on Boku no Hatsukoi wo Kimi ni Sasagu and start Love so life.

I've been reading quite a few shoujo manga lately. Although you know you have been reading too much yaoi when you start wondering when the two main male characters would get together! Lol.

I have to admit I was never a big shoujo fan. Don't get me wrong, I love Hana Kimi, Ouran Host Club and Kare Kano. But I tend to find the main heroine or the same old storyline tends to annoy me. I find a lot of shojou stories follow the same similar plot line. The main heroine is unpopular, average (in terms of appearance) or a wallflower and tends to capture the attention of the most popular boy in school. They hook up and then the main heroine feels insecure because her popular boyfriend is being chased/pursued by all these 'prettier' girls. Misunderstanding follows and heartbreak and makeups etc.

Although the following series follow the same plot line where an average looking girls ends up hooking up with the most popular boy in school, I actually enjoyed reading them.

Two of them are made into anime this fall (Tonari no Kaibutsu-kun and Kimi ni Todoke) and I will be definitely checking them out.

Although I do like this series, I am finding the latest chapters rather annoying, especially with the character of Megumi Kitagawa who is annoying the heck of me. Also Yamato needs to be more aware/mindful of his girlfriend's feelings. Sometimes I just want to kick him for his stupidity.
Rating - 3.5/5 (only because of Megumi who seems to be dominating the storyline. I wish they would just wrap up her story already.

I actually stayed up past 12 reading this last night. Tonari no Kaibutsu-kun was a little bit different from the same old, same old story plot line. Mizutani, the main heroine, who has also attracted the attention the violent but handsome Haru, has also gotten the attention of Yūzan Yoshida, a rich, elite boy. At one stage I was rooting for Yūzan to hook up with Mizutani! I really do like his aloof character.

On my next to read list is Ouji Romantica. If anyone can recommend any other good shoujo manga, please let me know.

The first week of my break is nearly over and I haven't accomplished much! Although I have been feeling sick of late. Normally the case when the break hits my body seems to shut down and take the time off to recover.

It's my sister's b'day on Friday and my other sister and I are taking her out for lunch on Saturday (since they work). She wanted to go to the Oishii Sushi Bar. But from the reviews I've read it's very mixed. My main concern is the lack of poor customer service. We may end up going shopping instead, but we'll see what my sister feels like on the day.

I've been into baking of late. I'm going to try and make milo muffins. My main problem with baking is that I love cooking them, but don't end up eating what I make. Normally I just push them onto my brother to eat them all. He doesn't mind my baking, although was not a fan of my honey cake I made not long ago.

I started on my xmas shopping. I don't know if it's too early or not, but I rather do things now rather than wait for the xmas rush. I've sorted out presents for my work colleagues. It's been a work tradition that you get people in our department presents. Does suck when you don't like certain colleagues but have to get them a gift out of obligation rather than wanting to get them something ^^;;. It can end up rather costly, so I've set myself a budget and will be sticking to that. I am thinking about buying my students in my form class a little present too. They are graduating in 6 weeks and I thought I might get them a little graduation present. These kids do drive me insane though and I need painkillers after having them 10 minutes in the morning. I can't wait for them to graduate! Lol. Any ideas of cheap graduation gift ideas would be much appreciated :D.

My laptop went black two nights ago so I am furiously backing up everything! But it is taking me a few days to move everything over to the external. I didn't realise how much stuff I stored on my laptop. I am planning to buy a new laptop but thought I might as well wait until Windows 8 is released. It's amazing how quickly technology and software is moving. Windows 7 was only released in 2009, although I guess 4 years is a long time in the IT world. All this updating is just getting damn expensive!

I need to tag and rename all my music files. Does anyone know any good free software to do this?

Currently on break, hoarh! Although spending the next couple of days backing up and backing that up! I should get back into exercising though. I've lost 9 kilos since the beginning of the year! It was a shock since I still feel rather flabby. My sister says I need to tone, but ugh. I'm down to 43 kilos. I won't lose anymore than that or I'll be too thin. But definitely need to tone.

I've been becoming addicted to buying things off ebay lately. Brought a couple of blouses, although one did have a button missing I was surprised how well it fit. Even though it was a bit short. Ordered some hair accessories since my hair is a lot longer now. I've been growing it for over 4 years now although there is a long way to go before it gets to the length I want.

One more week to go, although still heaps to so! ^^

Had a massive migraine yesterday. I guess it was a good thing I had the day off. But it has been such a stressful term and we are only half way through! Will mention that later in a less public post just in case.

I've been into nail polish lately although have been finding they chip off very quickly. Not in a couple of days, more like a couple of hours! This happens using both cheap and expensive nail polish. I've tried those top coats too, but they tend to chip off too. Not sure how I can get the colour to stay.

Instead of paying $120 to dye my hair I've tried Liese's color. It's like putting shampoo on, although the smell is very chemically. I tried brown ash but it ended up pretty much... black! Now being two weeks the colour has lighten up a bit because I've been in the sun. I might try a lighter shade like milk tea next time and see if it will lighten it more.

On a happier note the season is changing and I can not wait for spring! Today was the first time I hadn't worn stockings! The colder weather is suppose to be back next week. But definitely can't wait for spring. I'm so over winter!

Thank you everyone for the rock and roll chic look. I ended up looking very un-rock and roll. Someone suggested that I could be one of those boppy rock star, but not the slutty one! Lol.

I'm suppose to be dressing up as a rock star or rock chic but have no idea what to wear as my costume! I'm not too familiar with the 80's rock stars XD; But when people say oh you can dress up as Katy Perry or Lady Gaga, the first think that comes into my mind is, are they classified as rock stars? I tried googling the rock star look and didn't see anything that I could pull off.

Any recommendations on what I can wear, do my hair and makeup? Oh, it needs to be childsafe too! Lol.

I was really anticipating reading this story and when 801 media had licensed it into the one volume and counting, I was couldn't wait to get my hands on it. Much thanks to trixie and her b'day present I was able to get it through amazon. The cover is beautiful and coloured artwork inside are stunning. The manga starts off with a novel like introduction which sets the scenes and then the ....( My thoughts and possible spoilersCollapse )

Overall, would I recommend this story to others? Hmm.... if you like your psychological, twisted characters, blood and all things stomach turning, than yes. If not, stick with a more predictable story where you at least know the characters will end up happy together.

Funnily I paid more for these extras than the artbook and comic book combined... including the cost of EMS! Crazy! It's been freezing lately! Seriously cold! I can't wait for spring, only another two months to go. On another note, my comments are being eaten up in cyber space or somewhere. I wonder where they have gone :x.

So the digital perm idea is slowly slipping away after reading people's feedbacks (thank you so much!) and reading more into it. I don't like the idea of not being able to comb or brush you hair .... and the up keep of maintaining the curls. I get lazy pretty fast! I am now leaning towards a darker shade of brown rather than auburn. I don't want my hair to get too brassy.

Has anyone used Missha products before? Or more specifically M Perfect Cover BB Cream SPF 42 PA+++? I am contemplating on getting it but I read it can lead to break outs which I don't want. My skin is quite sensitive and prone to break outs which was one of the reasons why I saw a dermatologist for 2 years. So I would rather maintain my current skin condition. I placed an order for the Missha Watery BB Cream because it's water base. I need to stay away from oil based products which is why I use a lot of mineral makeup.

I went shopping with my sister today and spent over $120 on makeup ^^;;;;. I nearly died when I got to the counter. Although I did buy some new brushes too. All I brought was concealer, gel eyeliner, blush, lip gloss and shimmer eyeshadow. But I guess it was time to update my makeup and thrown out my older ones.

Has anyone had a digital perm before? I am thinking of getting it done, but I heard the curls ends up being lose and straight after a few weeks. I just want a bit of volume as my hair is pretty flat. Although I think it will cost ~$150-$200? Hmm....

I think I'll dye my hair a dark auburn red colour, but not sure how it will take to black hair. I just want a bit of a change.

I have one more week before work resumes, although this week I guess I better start on my readings for my up coming PD. Much to do.

I watched Snow White and the Huntsman. I do love my fairy tales and was a bit weary of watching this. But I was pleasantly surprised at how much I enjoyed it. I wouldn't call it a great movie, but it was an enjoyable viewing. I'm not a fan of Kirstin Steward though nor was I a fan of the whole Twilight series. Despite that, she wasn't too bad in the role of Snow White, but there was nothing outstanding in her performance either.

Men in Black III was pretty good. I liked the two previous movies and the third one didn't disappoint.

Last night I was watching Big Bang on Catherine subbed here. OMG, it was too hilarious. It reminds me of the Arashi's HnA - The haunting episodes.

I'm suppose to catch up with friends tomorrow but feeling under the weather. Admittedly I am a homebody and don't like going out unless I need to do something. It doesn't help when the weather is miserable, cold and wet. I much prefer to stay indoors, dry and warm. I guess I'll see how I feel tomorrow.

Tonight I am going to catch up on Kuroko's Basketball.

Currently on winter break and enjoying sleeping in this morning. Makes it even better when its cold and raining outside and I don't have to get up :D.

I have a lot to catch up anime wise, but will get there eventually. Lately I've been into the Korean group Big Bang and have been listening to their music etc. But I still do love my Arashi.

Anyway, brought the new Samsung galaxy s3. It's a very nice phone although I am still learning how to use it. My brother called me an idiot after 4 days of having the phone I still couldn't figure out how to pick up a call ^^;;;. I also got the new ipad, although after waiting 2 months for it (long story) it looked like it was refurbished despite buying it new. Had to go back to get it exchanged for a new one as I had paid for.

My cooktop needs to be replaced. Will be shopping for a new cooktop today. The unfortunate thing is that it is a strange size and will make it harder to find a replacement for it and expensive too. Fun.

I'm slowly catching up on comments and messages. So apologies for the belated reply D:. kingyo_mint, I wasn't sure if you still needed the file, but I've sent it to you just in case. Sorry for being late ^^;;;.

Lately I've been reading Kuroko no Basket . It actually reminds me a lot of PoT in terms of the teams, getting to nationals, and super saiyan basketball moves, lol. It's quite funny and the characters are interesting. I was excited to find out the anime of it is airing this spring 2012 which is now :D. Will definitely be on my to watch list. I hope everyone has a great Easter with heaps of Easter eggs! Although I read if you eat to mini Easter eggs you need to walk for 30 minutes to work it off o___O;;;.

Not long before the Easter break! Can't wait. I read the Hunger Games last weekend. I managed to finish it in about 4 and a half hours. It was OK, but I wasn't sold on the chemistry between the two main characters. I'm not sure if I get the whole hype of it. But again, I didn't get Twilight. The only thing I got was Harry Potter.

The building at work is currently being painted a disgusting orange. Seriously, who paints a building orange? And it's not a bright orange either, it's almost poo like. Very ugly. It's the paint fumes that are the worse though. The smell gives me a headache. It also doesn't help when the painters block the door and you're stuck inside. I swear they are violating a lot of workplace health and safety there!

It's a shame that Natsume has come to an end. I do hope they come back with a season 5. I just adore that series.

Anyway, back to work. Must not procrastinate! ^^
