This year’s travels

As you know, I tend to travel quite a bit for business. Looks like I’ll be visiting 5 different locations this year. I’m so excited.

  • Warsaw, Poland
  • Belgrade, Serbia
  • Orlando, Florida
  • Israel
  • (to be determined)

Anything I should be aware of when traveling to these locations? What are some of your favorite spots in either of these places?

Kona, Hawaii

Yes, the tropical weather of Hawaii. Somehow our visit happened to fall on beautiful sunny days right between two rain storms. The first happened before we got there and the latter happened after we left. Talk about perfect timing!

Surprisingly enough, we saw more volcanic rock formations than we did lush tropical forests.

Whistler, Canada

Spending a week in Whistler, Canada was wonderful. It rained, it was sunny, we sipped on coffee, shopped at the local farmer’s market, did activities, and relaxed. I couldn’t have asked for more.

I simply love the mountains, so Whistler did not let us down. It’s an ideal location for skiing and snowboarding during the winter months. But during the summer months, when we went, mountain biking was the popular activity.

I hiked to the top of Blackcomb Mountain one day with some friends. This hike was something like 9 miles practically straight up. In was so intense that there were stairs on the steep parts. Needless to say, I was exhausted. I’ll definitely remember this hike.

The lakes around Whistler are breathtaking! They are calm, at least when I was there, and blue. Reflecting the surrounding mountains and trees they were a perfect source of meditation.

Nashville, Tennessee

I spent a weekend in Nashville, Tennessee. The strip of country, rock, and bluegrass live bands and bars was so fun! The chicken was hot and I couldn’t get enough of it.

Nashville is my home, and the reason why I get to do what I love.
Taylor Swift

It’s well known as the birthplace for so many musicians, and even to this day there are music artists working in that city to make the right connections and get the breaks. I met several while visiting. The talent is overflowing there in Nashville.

Paris, France

I just love Paris. Does anyone not love Paris? It’s so romantic and lively. I spent about 4 days here walking the streets, enjoying the culture, and trying desperately to understand French. It was amazing.

There’s a lot of history here. Between all the monuments, the museums, and the structure of the city, one can get lost in the stories of the past.

Barcelona, Spain

Above all, I want to be happy, and at Barcelona, I’m happy.

Barcelona was booming. This city has activities going on non-stop. If you’re looking for excitement mixed with Spanish culture and great food, then you’ve found the right spot.

Barcelona is one of the world’s leading tourist, economic, trade fair and cultural centers, and its influence in commerce, education, entertainment, media, fashion, science, and the arts all contribute to its status as one of the world’s major global cities.
