I have announced my pregnancy a few months ago. But the reality of me being a mother didn't hit until I had my ultrasound and saw the baby inside my belly--with heartbeat and moving and all that.

 

I might have mentioned that this is an unexpected (but definitely not unwanted) pregnancy because of some of my health issues. The routinary annual physical exam became memorable because of our little blessing.

 

At first, we can only estimate as the fetus isn't big enough for an ultrasound. I satisfied myself to hearing its heartbeat during my doctor's visits. Now, here she/he is:

I'm 18 weeks along based on the sonogram. So the first estimate of having a December baby will have to be pushed a few weeks. It would be on the first half of January. I would have to wait a few more weeks to know the gender. One thing for sure, whether it's a girl or a boy, it'll grow up loved and cherished.

Many of you might have heard about the monsoon rain that's throwing havoc in the Philippines right now. I am not from any of the affected areas but I'm thinking of opening help_pilipinas</lj> for another fund raising event. Unfortunately, unlike last time, I can't work and monitor the comm closely. I would need people to help me out.

I know the first event wasn't monitored closely and there are still fics that have not written. I would like to personally apologize for my lack of follow up to the writers. That is why I'm hoping to gather people to form a team and work with the auction with me. That is, if any of you are willing to participate in another fund raising.

Sorry if this is short and all over the place. I'm writing this on my way home from work.

It's my anniversary as a fanfic writer!

Yep, it's been a year since I posted my first fanfiction, You Thought Wrong.  From RyoDa, I have now expanded my pairings to some pairings within KAT-TUN (but Junno is only paired with Uepi 

A lot has changed since last year. Now, with work in the way, I can only write an hour or two everyday. So, in a week, I will probably post one fic at most.

But since it's my anniversary and I'm feeling bold, I am going to accept requests which you can leave here. Pairings I write or don't write can be found there. Please request for one-shot or a drabble only. I'm still working on three multi-chapters right now.

Those who have pending requests, I am working on them. Some are already done, like mrs_koki's request, and is just waiting to be posted. I'm making use of LJ's scheduler so fics will post weekly or when I have it scheduled to post.

For some, they like KAT-TUN because of their music. For others, it's because they like someone for the group. Although I am biased on Ueda Tatsuya, I liked KAT-TUN because of their energy both individually and as a group.

It's been 6 years since they've debuted and I've been following them for just about that long. It wasn't love at first sight for me (I can't say the same for Ueda though) but I think that's a good thing. Because they grew on me in such a way that I love them flaws and all. Sadly, when they were growing on me, it was the time of Jin's hiatus. 

Their songs inspired and motivated me when I needed encouragement. Consoled me in my most trying times and made me felt love when I thought I wasn't. You could say I'm invested in KAT-TUN emotionally like some of you may be too. It was never about the numbers or the genres for me. I am happy to whatever they can give me. (I'm so easy to please, ne?) 

Seeing them grow, mature and turn into fine young men, I feel proud. Proud that I saw their transitions. Those times when they are still finding their own identities just like we do. It made me feel happy. In spite of the things they've gone through, they've only grown better, their bond stronger. Yet when they smile, you can see the same person you see 6 years ago. Only better. Much better. 

From now on and the years to come, I will continue to support KAT-TUN. Kyaaing and spazzing over how amazing they are.  They will continue as my inspiration and motivation. And I have to make sure to pass it on when I have kids.
