Today would have been Conservative67's birthday. He passed away late last year unexpectedly. DJ was a great conservative always standing up for those moral principles and values. I just couldn't let his birthday pass without comment. May he Rest In Peace.

Good morning everyone. I hope that some of my old friends come by here sometime. I miss the old days here at LiveJournal. I was looking at some of what I called my 1000th post yesterday. At each 1000th post I would make a special one. Then came MySpace which I don't think lasted very long and then Facebook. For me LiveJournal always worked better :)

I got my first computer in 1995

2. What type of computer was it?

IBM Aptival, Windows 95

3. What were your favorite things to do on your first computer?

I bought it to help me prepare to teach Sunday School

4. When did you/your family first connect to the Internet?

Janis brought home an AOL disc for me to try about a month after I bought the computer. I throwed it up on my desk and didn't worry about it for another month. She finally talked me into trying.

5. How did you spend time online when you first connected?

I spent a lot of time on the AOL message boards. That is where I met Lion4Lamb, my first real friend on the Internet. She's been a friend ever since.

Depends on who and when you ask.

Sometimes I just plain don't care

I will leave that for others to judge.

A little of both.

5. If someone you respect points out a flaw, do you work on changing it or do you expect them to accept you as you are?

If it is Janis I will listen to what she says and almost always change it. As for most everyone else, I can't please the world and won't try being a people pleaser.

Is anyone here. I sure miss the old neighborhood. Everyone has moved out and went to facebook, which I don't like but am trying to adjust too. Just checking to see if I am noticed here at LJ.
